Oranges and Lemons – Lemons are high in vitamin C, a natural antioxidant which enhances the immune system and has antiviral and antibacterial properties.

Ginger – Due to its strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, ginger is associated with boosting immune health.

Manuka Honey – Manuka honey’s healing properties make it a great all-round wonder food. ‘It has anti-viral, antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. It can be used to boost the immune system to help fight off illness, and to improve skin conditions.

So you can see that having a jug of our Winter Wellness Citrus Spritzer on hand everyday will not only keep everyone well hydrated but their immune systems will be thanking you too.

Feel free to have some fun with this recipe – you could replace the lemons with limes and you could certainly add a few sprigs of fresh mint or rosemary.

  • Yum this sound amazing! Such great ingredients , would be perfect for when I feel a cold coming on or for an arvo pick me up .

  • Not a big fan of ginger even though I know it=s good for you might give it a go might be ok in this drink might just put a tiny bit in it to try.

  • This sounds yummy. I’ll have to look for some oranges as bub has recently gotten a cold so will try this without the sparkling I think?!

  • Looks so refreshing.

  • I have to agree with some of the other comments – I hate Ginger!

  • I’d prefer this without ginger but then it wouldn’t be as immunity boosting.
