Winter is here and with the season comes all sorts of coughs, colds and bugs. Your family’s immunity is always important but now more than ever so we thought we’d give you an immunity boosting drink the whole family will love.

This Immunity Boosting Winter Wellness Citrus Spritzer is filled with a variety of ingredients that are going to build immunity, nourish and hydrate with every sip.

We love that this Citrus Spritzer is filled with a host of ingredients that are associated with immunity:

Oranges and Lemons – Lemons are high in vitamin C, a natural antioxidant which enhances the immune system and has antiviral and antibacterial properties.

Ginger – Due to its strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, ginger is associated with boosting immune health.

Manuka Honey – Manuka honey’s healing properties make it a great all-round wonder food. ‘It has anti-viral, antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. It can be used to boost the immune system to help fight off illness, and to improve skin conditions.

So you can see that having a jug of our Winter Wellness Citrus Spritzer on hand everyday will not only keep everyone well hydrated but their immune systems will be thanking you too.

Feel free to have some fun with this recipe – you could replace the lemons with limes and you could certainly add a few sprigs of fresh mint or rosemary.

  • I have many lemons and oranges on the fruit trees at the moment so this would be a refreshing and healthy drink to make with them. I don’t have Manuka honey so I might just use normal pure honey instead.
