  • Once a hesitant online shopper - now I'll never look back!

    After taking a look at another supermarkets online shopping about 2 years ago, I was totally confused and put off even trying as it was not an easy set up. Recently I tried Coles online shopping and could not be happier. I got free delivery before Christmas, all my groceries were available, and delivered fresh by a friendly driver.

    The first time, it took me a while but since then I have used previous orders and lists to order from and now there is no looking back. I love that the specials are listed so i don’t miss them and that it can all be done from the comfort of my own home. We save money as I have the time to look for specials and don’t have to take hungry kids shopping with me!

    I love that I can add to my order up until a cut off point (much better than the other supermarket I tired) as I often forget things and this way can add them easily.

    Overall I would highly recommend Coles Online Shopping to everyone – it’s one less stress out of my week and I could not be happier!

    Oh, and getting Flybuys points online makes it even sweeter!

    Having small children and a husband who works away from home, I find grocery shopping a bit of a hassle, this service is fantastic for me in our situation.
    The range to chose from is great, the quality is always high – even for fresh produce, and their staff are so great and friendly! Thank you Coles!

    I love Coles online shopping. I shop online with Coles every fortnight. I love being able to pick products while at home. it’s so much easier. and the delivery workers are so happy, and bring in my shopping. will always get online shopping with coles.

  • Amazing service!

    Amazing service! Will definitely be shopping like this from now on! We have a ridiculously steep driveway and the gentleman who unloaded our order was fantastic and very friendly. We have 4 kids and 2 very big dogs so there was a lot to unload. Products that I had chosen that were not available were all upgraded and weRe excellent value for money. Well done Coles!

    I had never order my groceries online before. What a surprise to find all my groceries I had picked deliverd to the door by a friendly deliverer, wanting to know if I was happy with the service and delivered on time! WOW, will definitely do this again!

    i love the ease of online shopping specially with three kids under 6, food shopping in the supermarket is usually a nightmare but after discovering my area now does delivery it made me definatly choose to do shopping online and save the fights and hassles i usually face when doing my dreaded food shop

  • Impressive!

    I started shopping for groceries online when I was 8.5 months preggies with #2 & have always used Woolworths. I tried Coles before they upgraded their website but found it too confusing. But that has certainly changed. The website is really user friendly as well as the delivery guy – had my groceries taken all the way into the kitchen

  • Love the convenience

    I tried the coles online shopping for the first time last week and loved it! I find it sometimes an overwhelming task to get out and go shopping with a 7 month old and often dread doing the shopping. I love that I could go online and browse all the things I needed and have it parodied for and sent to my home. No wheeling through a supermarket with a crying baby out trying to pack and unpack the car! Very happy with this service and will be doing this more often now

    this town has only just recently got into the delivery side of things. the online shopping process was so easy to do and the driver is nice and really helpful and helped unpack the groceries
    the kids really loved the experience and were so excited to see the truck and have a visitor bringing goodies
    i would suggest giving it a go

    I wasn’t sure about the whole concept of online shopping for groceries but was pleasantly surprised by easy it all was. The food was delivered within the agreed timeframe, exactly what I ordered and nicely packed. Will definitely be looking to use the service again.

    Tho i didnt get chosen for this review i gave it a go anyways and orderd online. It was fantastic. on time and all sorted out into bags that matched. Not like most the time you get fruit and veg with cleaning…..
    i always shop at coles as i find its cheeper and has al lthe products i like.

  • Generally good but it has a few issues

    Coles online shopping is an incredibly easy way to get your groceries, and if you’re sometimes physically limited (as I am), it can be a real lifesaver. The delivery people aren’t all that friendly – mostly I think because they’re in a rush. And it’s a pain if you can’t find everything you need (or if they’re out of stock and you don’t discover that till they arrive). I’m not sure I’d use them for every shop, but it’s a great service to have available.

  • Very unreliable and questionable quality

    I have used Coles online a few times and am usually disappointed with my delivery. They usually make mistakes within the delivery and quite often have been extremely late despite specifying a time frame to deliver. I have even had to go in to the store to do the groceries as they didn’t deliver the day they were meant to.

  • Great website, but not all products available

    Very convenient ordering my groceries at home while watching the kids, however it was disappointing that so many of the weekly specials were classed as “Currently unavailable” – when I went in store they were there (but the whole idea was to avoid having to go to the shops in the first place!)

  • Coles Online is fast, efficient and fun

    Order was an easy process with most of the items I normally buy ( sadly not all). The delivery always arrives well within the specified time advised and drivers are particularly friendly and helpful. One thing they offer that other don’t is there is always a sample product to try in every order.

  • I usually shop at Safeway & so I had to accomodate a couple of the products we usually get for others but I didn’t have a problem with any of them 🙂 the delivery men have always been cheerful & very helpful & I love that they will bring in the groceries into your kitchen and onto your counter as this is always the hardest part of food shopping for me with two kids. The produce we’ve bought has been great too 🙂 quite pleased with Coles online!

  • I do 75% of my shopping online every week. While delievery is good I generally use Claick and collect as I find it more reliable. We have had issues around delieveries where not all items have been delievered, getting the refunds are no problem, BUT it leaves me having to go shop again. In terms of budget managment shopping online is great, easy to find sale items, and no unplanned purchases or arrgumnets with kids or cravings.
    I prefer to pick my off fresh stuff at the markets so we primarily use these services for evryday staples.

  • Great for parents with young kids

    I have been doing online shopping for years now, it is fantastic for parents with young children you do not get an opportunity to go the the shops without the kids. It is also great for those people on a budget as you can see how much you are spending before you get to the checkout. However, I do find that the prices online are more expensive than in the store and substitutions are not always the best. Overall, I will continue to use online shopping as it is much easier than dragging the kids around the store.

  • Deliverer friendly, delivered on time, great way to shop!

    I had never order my groceries online before. What a surprise to find all my groceries I had picked deliverd to the door by a friendly deliverer, wanting to know if I was happy with the service and delivered on time! WOW, will definitely do this again!

  • Convenient but has limitations.

    Overall, Coles online shopping is good. It’s convenient and offers most items instore. The price of delivery varies a bit though depending on when you’d like it delivered. Not happy that some items are not available after the cut-off time for changing your order. Only found out an item was not available and I didn’t have the chance to choose something else instead – didn’t want a substitute but I would have chosen a different flavour. Another drawback is not being able to choose ‘reduced for a quick sale’ items which I often buy which you can only get instore. It can become time consuming online but if have a list or really know what you want then using online shopping is quicker than going to the store and there’s no impulse buying! Think I’d use online shopping for bulk shopping items and heavier items with perhaps trips to the store for top up items.

  • More expensive than in store and delivery fee is expensive

    Since becoming pregnant with no2 I’ve been finding the big grocery shop a challenge, so tried Coles online, I wasn’t a fan and won’t be using it again. I had used it a few years ago and must say the website usability has definitely really improved, I found it a lot quicker to actually do my online shop but that is the extent of my praise. I notice a lot of my regular purchases like kids squeeze yogurts were up to 20c dearer online than in store for the exact same product, I also think the delivery fee is very steep and to get the Wednesday free shipping you really have to order by the Friday and who knows what you need 6 days before you go shopping??? They put all of your groceries in a refridgerated truck including bananas (which go brown after being chilled) and even tinned food and deodorant, I just think that’s weird and I don’t like putting things in the pantry after they have been chilled? And lastly on the few orders I made I ordered multiple items in special and they were regularly out of stock, which was really disappointing. Overall, not impressed and am back shopping in store.

    I think this is so easy especially when somedays i just dont have time to go do a complete shop, i was able to order everything i wanted and needed and they came straight to my door… very happy

  • So quick and easy

    This was so much easier than I expected. Would definitely do it again. Was able to shop in the comfort of my own home , have everything delivered and not have to worry about parking and a crowded shopping centre. The fact that there are so many delivery times to choose from made it very convenient. My delivery arrived within the 2 hour delivery time frame and all my groceries were kept very cold in the refrigerated truck.

  • Convenience is what it offers

    Although convenient to order online, I found there were a few hiccups (ie. I was forwarded an email after my order and prior to products being received on the day, that certain products were out of stock, which was the majority of my order)… I had to then contact Coles Online to clarify this with them.. they assured me it was an error. They also couldn’t provide me with one of the products and advise that they replace it with the equivalent.. however I received a Coles cheapie as a replacement… which I didn’t feel was the equivalent.
    Buying online certainly offers the option of ordering from home in your own personal space and I would definitely use it if I was having an event/party the following day without the time to go out and personally shop!

    Fast, friendly, service, convenient way to shop!

    I can spend so much extra time browsing when shopping online and I don’t have the kids throwing extras into my trolley, saving me a fortune! I love having my groceries home delivered to me – makes me feel pampered! A very efficient and fun way to shop.

  • Didn't have it all

    I ordered online and picked my time frame – the one I wanted was full, but managed on the next one. The delivery man was friendly and we had a good chat, but I did find that some of the things I ordered where not available, which meant I had to go to coles anyway. If I had known when ordering, I would have saved myself the delivery fee and just gone to the shops.

  • Great for the working mum!

    I love being able to wake up Saturday morning and have my groceries delivered and then have the extra time to spend with the kids! Every now and again there is something missed but is sorted out by a quick telephone conversation. We always end up with a few samples as well which can be a nice treat!
