  Light weight, effective, convenient!

  I was really impressed with the Colgate ProClinical C250 Electric Toothbrush from the moment I took it out of its packet. It is unlike any other electric toothbrush: VERY light, small and will definitely be included in my toiletry bag next time I travel. The brush itself is very effective yet gentle on teeth, ideal for people with receding gums like myself. It also has an inbuilt timer for brushing different areas, which is especially great for kids learning how to brush their teeth properly. I am impressed, and strongly recommend this convenient and effective toothbrush. A+

  Wow really loving using the electric toothbrush will be buying more heads so my husband can have a go 🙂 Love the been to the dentist clean and love the lightweight design I will never go back to manual again

  Replacement Brush Heads

  After trialling this product for a week and a half, and deciding that it was a great toothbrush for the whole family to start using, I decided to purchase some additional brush heads during a recent trip to Coles. After researching the options online first, I was hoping to get two of the ‘sensitive’ brush heads for our two eldest daughters (6yrs & 4yrs) and then another two of the ‘Triple Clean’ brush heads (the one that comes standard with the unit) for my husband and myself. When I got to the dental section of the supermarket, I was disappointed to find that there was only one option to purchase when it came to the Colgate ProClinical range (and numerous options for the Oral B range). Although the toothbrush is marketed as having two brush head options, there only seems to be one available to purchase (the sensitive brush head is not a stocked product). And although the toothbrush is also marketed as having 4 different coloured brush heads (blue, green, light grey & dark grey) to enable multiple family members to use the same base, the replacement brush head packs do not allow you to see what colours are in the packet (of 2). So my $17 spend on a two-pack of the Triple Clean brush heads resulted in me getting a duplicate of the light grey colour we already had (along with a new green colour). I think that Colgate have done well to manufacture and market different brush head options & to have different coloured brush heads for various users, but there seems to be a problem in the availability of the products for consumers. Our local Coles stock both the black and the white model of the C250 (as well as two other Colgate ProClinical electric toothbrushes) but don’t currently stock the full range of accessories. This is a little frustrating from a customer point of view, as it limits our potential use of the electric toothbrush to two members of the household only. So I would encourage Colgate to be pushing for the big supermarkets to stock the 4 pack of replacement brush heads, and also the Sensitive brush head which is better suited to children. Perhaps just a local issue…..not sure…..but worth the feedback nonetheless.

  Great clean. Compact. Love ie.

  This is my second review and 11 days later I’m still loving this electric toothbrush .It’s very compact( including the charger) , light and easy to manoeuvre. My teeth feel so much cleaner I wish I made the switch a long time ago. Love the 2 minute timer. I must admit I probably wasn’t doing quite 2 minutes of cleaning before I trialled this.So I particularly love this feature .All in all I can’t fault this product and I would say yes go out and buy one. You won’t be sorry.

  The Sonic Wave Is Incredible

  I am normally a bit hesitant of electric toothbrushes as I figure that i can do just as good of a job with a normal toothbrush but WOW!! The sonic wave is amazing, it pulses throughly as im cleaning my teeth and i can feel it flicking any minute bits of food away from my gumline. Its very stylish snd easy to operate. I love the 2 minute timer aswell.

  Not what I expected and I am rapt!

  In the past 12 months I have had four root canals, three extractions and many fillings. I brush twice a day and floss daily. I had used electric toothbrushes before but they felt cumbersome and didn’t do a particularly good job. It just felt like the lazy way out.
  The ProClinical was not at all what I was expecting. In a good way! It was super light and more powerful than anything I had ever tried. In fact, at first, I couldn’t brush consistently for the two minutes on timer because I just wasn’t used to the vibration, but man did my teeth feel clean! Even the few areas that I find really difficult to reach felt great! While brushing I felt like I was having a professional clean by a dentist.
  After my raving over the past week, my husband has asked me if I can buy him one. Hats off to this little beauty. Hopefully a clean bill of dental health for me next visit!

  Lightweight and great for smaller hands

  What can I say, it was charged straight out of the box. This is a nice compact toothbrush that is simple to use and not fussy like some other brands. The cover is genius and I plan to use it when we travel. I have already purchased extra brush heads as my two young girls were also desperate to use it. Loving this product.

It has taken over my busy life with crazy pics of a simple yet mundane task and has given everyone of my friends and family a giggle everyday trying to get a pose with it!   Colgate has changed my life!

  To be chosen to review the Colgate Proclinical C250 ElectricToithbrush has given my the opportunity to take a task that I had to do each and every day to a whole new level of oral hygiene. I have enjoyed the new light weight feel of the toothbrush along with its soft feather like bristles that removed the remnants of the day to disappear without any stress or bleeding to my surrounding gums. It leaves your teeth and gums feeling refreshed, clean and smooth with little effort and is barely heard compared to other electric toothbrushes I have encountered. Which is great trying to brush your teeth early in the morning while trying not to wake my husband when getting ready for my nursing shifts. The toothbrush and my photos have entrigued my friends and family and I will to rave about its benefits to everyone and anyone whom asks or really needs to know how compact, convienent and clinically complete this piece of technology has provided. Colgate has continued to surprise and complete my daily oral hygiene rituals! Love it!

  A more effective way to clean teeth

  A little terrifying using the Colgate ProClinical the first time as the vibrations were so powerful, I couldn’t actually feel where the brush was on my teeth. It took a week to learn how to get an effective clean as I found that the vibrations distracting, causing me to miss spots. I really have to look in the mirror as
  I am brushing and concentrate closely on the task. After a week of use, I seem to have less plaque and I’m getting that just cleaned by the dentist feel.
  The 30 second beep is good, although I wish there was a double beep for the last 30 seconds, as once again, I really have to concentrate more than a regular toothbrush.
  A full charge of the toothbrush lasted at least a week, and I actually preferred that the vibrations became slower as the battery ran down.
  My only gripe is that the toothbrush is so wobbly on the charging stand, I know
  I’m going to be forever knocking it over accidentally.
  I will definitely continue using the toothbrush, and continue with my new regime of brushing for 2 minutes and more effectively removing plaque.

  First time useing an electric tooth brush

  Unusually never used an electric toothbrush, I was pleasantly surprised at he effort needed to use it, or the lack of effort. If you use the same amount of effort that you’re accustom to you’ll notice a distinct difference.
  The small head and narrow design make it easy work to brush. No removable batteries are a welcome feature as is the simplicity of charging dock. Small issue to be noted the stability of the “docking port” could be improved with a wider base and the replacement heads in a variety of quantity, rather than a single choice of 4 per pack,slightly pricey: and different head sizes would be a positive move. Other than that no issues a positive experience, and aesthetically pleasing as well.

  It’s taken a little while to get used to not having to put so much effort to brushing my teeth. Having used a manual toothbrush for so long, the automated are the way to go! Highly recommended!!

  Excellent Battery Life

  We have been actively reviewing this toothbrush for a week now. Three people in our household are using it on a daily basis, and we are still yet to recharge it!!! As per the instructions, it was charged overnight when we first received it, but it hasn’t needed to be plugged back in since. This has been a nice surprise, as now I know that we can take it away on weekends or short breaks without the need to cart the charger around with us (or be in the vicinity of a power outlet). Another note-worthy aspect of a great product.

  Takes a bit of getting used to!

  I was seriously so excited when my toothbrush turned up in the post. I can’t tell you how long o have been looking for a decent toothbrush and I have never actually used an electric toothbrush myself… Plus I hate the dentist. With a vengeance! So this could be for me 🙂
  On first appearances the toothbrush is unassuming. Definitely light, easy to manoeuvre, comfortable. I turned it on and it seemed to have a good strength but not overwhelming. Good first impression!
  My 10 year old was my first Guinea pig which in hindsight probably wasn’t the wisest move but it just happened his bedtime was first. He jumped a mile and screeched when I turned the toothbrush on but was laughing…. Took a minute and we had another hour but he couldn’t stop laughing! Strangely he said he liked it even though he couldn’t bare it for more than a few seconds at a time. I washed and dried the toothbrush for my own use and in a split second I got where he was coming from. That toothbrush is not comfortable on initial use- the best way I can describe it is a “nails on a chalkboard” type feeling… It’s hard to take initially, especially on the front teeth. It’s cringe worthy. With a bit of perseverance I managed the prescribed timeframe but wow. Your cheeks vibrate and buzz and the feeling is unnerving.
  On a positive there is no doubt this toothbrush cleans well and whilst my gums bled on the first use it wasn’t ongoing- I think my mouth just went into shock! Used regularly I’m sure I would get used to it and I doubt there could be a better clean and polish outside a dental surgury
  My son LOVES this toothbrush and given he has sensory issues I’m suprised but he says he loves how “shiny” his teeth are!
  I might need to buy a couple of these brushes and fingers crossed its worth the cringe factor in the long run!

  Wow to my first proper electric toothbrush!

  A big WOW to my first proper electric toothbrush! Thank you Colgate for making it so slim, easy to use & powerful…..actually maybe a bit too powerful. The first time I used it, I was surprised by how strong the vibrations were. It was great when the brush was brushing my teeth, however when I went to move it from top teeth to bottom or anywhere else in my mouth, if the brushes missed & I got the hard part on my teeth instead, it really was quite hard

  Have given it a few goes now & gotten used to the speed of it. It’s great how you don’t have to re-charge it all the time! Cute toothbrush! I’d always wanted to try electric, but had always been put off by the price of the brush initially + subsequent refills

  Will never use a manual brush again

  I applied for this review as my dentist had suggested I try an electric toothbrush. I was sceptical a brush is a brush right? Well I am happy to admit I was wrong. Whilst they first few times of using an electric brush felt completely strange the clean feeling my mouth had kept me wanting to re-use it. After brushing with the Colgate Pro Clinical my whole mouth feels fresh and clean. I’ve noticed that my fresh clean feeling lasts so much longer than when I use a manual brush. I am definately a convert and have already planned to get the whole family electric toothbrushes. Do your mouth a favour and give it a go!

  Wonderful Clean

  An exceptional electric toothbrush! I really feel like I have been to the dentist and have clean teeth, after every use. It’s very easy to use and has a great design too. It’s great value for money! I would gladly recommend it to my family and friends.
