How to use FESS Little Noses Saline Nasal Spray?

 

  1. Using FESS Little Noses Saline Nasal Spray when your baby is upright:

While your baby is upright, simply place the nozzle at the entrance of each nostril and press the spray pump down.

 

  1. Using FESS Little Noses Saline Nasal Spray when your baby is lying down:

1. Lie the baby flat on his/her back and tilt the head back.

It may be helpful to place a small pillow or rolled towel under the shoulders for support.

Gently remove any existing excess mucus.

2. Hold the bottle upright and press the spray pump down once.

Place the nozzle of the spray pump at the entrance of each nostril and press down to spray.

Apply 1 to 3 sprays per nostril.

3. Hold your baby in this position for one to two minutes to give the saline solution time to thin the mucus.

You can repeat as often as needed. The easy to use spray pump has been specifically designed to produce a soft spray ideal for little noses.

4. When you have finished, gently wipe excess mucus from the baby’s nose to prevent any skin irritation

  • No more cut nostrils

    Trying to keep nostrils clear, my baby has relief from FESS Little Noses Nasal Spray. I used to use my fingernails to retrieve unwanted boogers from my babies nostrils and sometimes cut them in the process and me feel like an awful mother but now having FESS Little Noses Nasal Spray at home I am at ease using the aspirator and spray I am able to suck them out with causing cuts and stress. I thank them that there is a product out there that enables you to do that. A lot less worry for parents and knowing now your baby can breathe a lot better.

  • Breathing a lot better my little boy

    We used it just the other day, poor little boy could hardly breathe only 5 weeks at the time, nostril was all stuffed up and wouldn't feed from my breast. Got out the FESS Little Noses Nasal Spray and Aspirator and used on him. Boogers were being sucked up and it was gross but it enabled my baby boy to breathe a lot better. End result he was able to feed from me and have a reasonable good sleep without desperately trying to breathe.

    What a better way to make your baby breathe better than to help them with Fess Little Noses Nasal Spray. I find it's a great product that I am happy to keep using for all my babies as I have already done so.     My second baby is a winter baby, combine that with an older sibling who goes to childcare and before we knew it we had our first newborn cold. With my first being a summer baby I was a bit oblivious when it came to knowing what to buy to help my baby.

  • Unwanted Boogers Go Away!!!

    It's the perfect solution to get those unwanted boogers from my littlies nostrils. The last thing you want is to hear your littlie unable to breathe with boogers in their nose and they are too little to blow them out. This is were FESS Little Noses come into action...

    You put the spray into their nose, then use the aspirator to suck the unwanted boogers out, it seems and looks gross but with your littlie breathing a lot better it's worth going through the grossness of it all.

    I have used FESS Little Noses several times over my son's 20 months. I love that it is a gentle product that allows relief from a blocked and stuffy nose.     I used these for my twins when they were babies and they were perfect and easy to use! They are affordable,and helped my stuffy girls clear up very good.     Enjoyed reading previous reviews because it made me think of my 2 daughters. Daughter 1 swore by FESS Little Noses for her 2 babies and recommended it to her sister Daughter 2. Daughter 2 had one baby and would not use FESS because she thought the idea and action was 'GROSS'. But when her baby was about 7 months old, he was very choked up with a cold and couldn't breathe. Daughter 1 used FESS on him and cleared his breathing immediately. Daughter 2 was so relieved and pleased. She uses it all the time now.

    FESS Little Noses is a good product. It is not a miracle worker, however. It seems to clear the nose for a short time. I've found with my 2 children, nothing really works. You just have to ride it out. However, FESS Little Noses did give my daughter relief for long enough to feed and settle to sleep so that is a massive bonus.

    Used this Fess little noses nasal spray for my baby when he had cold. It works so quick and easy to use. It helps to clear stuffy nose very quick.     My baby was just two months when he got cough and cold. His cold was really bad with stuffy nose and that time our GP recommended us this Nasal spray to use. We have used this and it is so effective that after one use it just helped my baby to breadth easily without any trouble. He slept well. Would recommend this.

  • Used for my baby

    My baby was 2 months old when he got cold with stuffy nose, then our GP recommend us this Nasal spray. Its really wonderful but for the first time I was really scared to use this for such a small baby. As you follow the instructions, you will know how is that for your little one. I am still using this for my baby.

“My Floor Has Never Been So Clean”: The Mop That’s Winning Over Mums

Mopping isn’t exactly the chore most of us look forward to, but like most mums, for Katrina Macilroy, it’s unavoidable.

With three teenagers, a husband, a dog, two cats and timber flooring throughout most of her home, there’s plenty to keep her mop busy.

“I thought the toddler stage was hard, but teenagers take it to a whole other level,” Katrina told Mouths of Mums.

She describes herself as a ‘full-time Uber driver’ for her three kids, but when she’s home, she may as well be a full-time cleaner.

Her husband is a concreter, the family has plenty of sand coming inside and, with teenagers touching everything, the floors quickly show the evidence of a full family life.

“I have to mop like every second day because the floor gets marks,” she said.

So when Katrina was given the chance to try the Vileda Easy Wring & Clean TURBO Mop & Bucket Set, she was keen to see whether it could actually make one of her least favourite cleaning tasks any easier.

“I didn’t have high hopes for it to start with, because I’ve used spin mops before and I’d been disappointed,” she admitted.

But it didn’t take long for her to change her mind. One of the first things Katrina noticed was just how easy the mop was to use.

The foot pedal made wringing the mop quick and simple, without having to stop and fiddle with anything.

“It was so easy to spin it,” she says. “It wasn’t like you’re spinning it for hours or anything.”

She was also impressed by how quickly the mop itself could be put together, and the simple button that releases the mop head for washing.

“That simple press notion, everyone can do that. So I love that.”

It’s The Little Things That Add Up

For Katrina, who regularly finds herself cleaning up after a busy family, these little details made a surprisingly big difference. She also loved the triangular mop head, particularly when it came to getting into the corners and edges that her previous mop struggled with.

“The triangle design makes it easy to get into all the little corners,” she says.

But ultimately, the big question was whether it actually cleaned her floors. Katrina’s answer was an enthusiastic yes.

“My floor has never been so clean,” she says.

Katrina was also surprised by how light and manoeuvrable the mop felt, because at just 4’11”, she says mopping can sometimes be an uncomfortable job.

“I’m not a tall person, so trying to mop is always just a horrible experience.”

And it wasn’t just the mop itself that won Katrina over. She says the bucket design solved one of her biggest mopping frustrations: accidentally tipping the bucket over.

“You have to plug it in like a vacuum. Like, that’s not fun, I don’t want to do that.”

  • Yes, I couldn’t agree more. The Vileda spin mop is by far my favourite mop for a good thorough clean at home. I even got the landlords to purchase one for the holiday house I clean to make cleaning a breeze and get the job done properly. I always grab a spare when they’re out for half price.

  • Ah, I received a ‘you’re a finalist’ email from MoM for this fantastic mop but didn’t receive anything beyond that. I was looking forward to giving this a try to compare the three existing options I have but alas. Looks good, fingers crossed I can try it in the near future!

  • Omg! Yes! With 4 dogs and 4 teens AND the guests they bring home with them LOL our timber floors and tiles don’t stand a chance! I would love to see them add some wheels to the bottom of the bucket so that you don’t have to carry the bucket around with you.

  • This sounds like an excellent mop that makes cleaning so easy! I love a product that not only is as effective as advertised but makes a job less grueling. I gotta say though, a steam mop that plugs in sounds like an awful idea. I have a tineco floor mop, which is cordless and charges at a base, and it’s incredible on my white tiles.
