As mums of babies and toddlers, nappies are a huge part of our lives. And we all know that the quality of the nappies we are using can make a huge difference to every day!
Mamia® Supa Fit™ Nappies are ready when you’re not …
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKYrDmfaja8
We’re excited to announce the Mamia® nappies product review and that right now we have mums and their bubs putting them to the test.
Following extensive testing, ALDI has worked with its manufacturer to develop a world class premium quality unisex nappy. To provide parents with ongoing product improvement, and to deliver a nappy that meets world class standards, ALDI has introduced the Mamia® Supa Fit™ nappy. This nappy uses new technologies to provide a better fit and greater comfort, in a thinner nappy.
Some of the great new features of Mamia® nappies include:
Comfy Flex™
Soft and stretchy sides allow babies to move and stretch their bodies. The nappy fits snug and moves with your toddler, helping to keep a cosy fit and to stay leak proof on the go!
No more scratchy waist bands!
The stretch of the Mamia® nappy is now achieved at the sides with Comfy Flex™ stretchy sides. These elastic sides provide greater stretch than the previous waistband, while allowing your toddler the flexibility of greater movement without compromising fit, or irritating your toddler’s skin. And when secured correctly, Comfy Flex™ will ensure the rear waist is snug against your toddler’s back.
Discreet Triple Layer Core
Mamia’s triple layer core is thinner and more comfortable. This technology still has all the anti-leak characteristics, absorbency and ‘wet proof’ characteristics demanded by parents. So, thinner and better! Thinner product means less use of the world’s resources; from the raw materials used to produce a nappy, to those used to pack it!
Breathable
Mamia® Supa Fit™ nappies use state of the art materials that help your baby’s skin breathe by allowing air through the back and front panels without affecting the leakage performance of the nappy.
Find out more about Mamia® Supa Fit™ Nappies or look for them in all ALDI Supermarkets around Australia.

This is a nappy I definitely trust, have been using them for a while now and to be honest with you I am not going back to my old ones. Really happy with the quality and care that the nappies are made and definitely would give all the stars I can for this nappy. For anyone that hasn’t tried it, give it a go, nothing to lose and you might be surprised! - My Photo didn't come through so doing it again :)

Mamia nappies (Aldi) have worked beautifully on my little girl. We have used both these and thud Huggies brand (which is a lot more expensive) and I can not see any difference in the quality or performance of the nappies. If anything we have had less leakages when wearing the Mamia brand. The seals work perfectly, they are breathable and have never hindered my girls movement. These nappies are fantastic and I will keep buying them!

I would definitely recommend Mamia Nappies to anyone and everyone, they are fantastic and awesome and great for my 3 daughters so far.
I have purchased Mamia nappies over and over again and will continue to do so.
The quality I would rate is 5 stars, my honest opinion is that I think that Mamia is the best nappy, Huggies are great but I prefer Aldi nappies more. Mamia nappies are a great brand and will continue to buy them even if I have another child :)

These nappies are my favourite brand, they are worth the money and affordable too. I think Aldi are as good as Huggies Brand and if not better. I used Huggies with my eldest daughter and starting using Aldi with her when she was older and have never looked back. My twin daughters I have used Aldi nappies right from birth and have never had any problems, leakages or tears. It is an awesome Nappy! GO ALDI!!!

I use Mamia nappies almost exclusively with my 16 month old daughter and have done since she was a newborn. I will occasionally use a more expensive brand nappy (if they are on special) however I really cannot see much of a difference between the two brands aside from price.
I have heard from friends with sons that Mamia nappies aren't as effective as gender specific nappies from other brands. However, speaking from experience - Mamia nappies are fantastic for girls of all ages!

I have found these nappies to be of great quality and very good fit as well as a very good price. Compared to the more expensive brands I find this brand to be of better quality. Compared to the cheaper brands there is no comparison this brand beats them all in my opinion. They are also a very good fit and I never have leakage.

I really cannot fault the Mamia brand Aldi nappies. I have used these on my now 4 year old and 2 year old daughters. The 4 year old is now out of nappies but I also used the pull ups on her during toilet training. Both used the nappies overnight and would often wake up full but never had any leakage issues. I find these to be just as a good as any other brand out there but at a more affordable price. Would certainly recommend to others.

I'm using this Aldi nappy brand for my kids from last 2 year and me so happy perfect size no urine leaks no rashes. kids happy. I'll not going to use another nappy this is perfect for my kids...
We started using the Mamia nappies a few months ago, they were recommended by other mum's in my mum's group. I have found them to be very comparable to the other well known brands. They perform really well in all areas & keep him dry all night, even those odd nights when he wakes & has a bottle. They are also very well priced which is a huge plus for me.

My mother bought a pack of the unisex first time pants over with her on one of her trips to visit, and both me and my son fell in love with them. He loves the pictures on the front and that he can pull them up himself. I love that they hold a fare amount without being bulky.
My son know refers to them as his ducky pants whenever we have to change him and refuses to wear anything else.
The only downside to these nappies is that they are not available in my state and as such i have to get my mum to send them to us every month.

I loved these for my daughter, not so much for my son. They're absorbent, comfortable, super reasonably priced, but for some reason they just didn't work for my son and they just used to leak all the time. However, they have performed brilliantly on my daughter and have been purchasing them for a while now. I still use Huggies at night though, for the extra absorbency and a drier feel on her bottom.

I have tried many, many different types of nappies and unfortunately the for me the Mamia nappies were not too good at all. I tried them when my little one was a newborn and they leaked everywhere every time he wore them. Not one to let just one type to deter me, I tried them again when he was older - in the crawler category and unfortunately had the same experience.

I keep on hearing how good MAMIA nappies are, from so many people. I have used them a couple of times and i am really sorry to say that i cannot agree with my friends.
They are a great price and feel soft compared to some nappies I have tried, but i think it is worth spending the extra to get a good nappy.
The things i don't like about MAMIA nappies are,
-The sizes seem to be all over the place, the little sizes seem to be huge compared to the size on the packet and the big sizes don't fit. My skinny 16kg child is only just fitting into the 16-25kg size.
-I seem to change so many more nappies. When my bub is wearing MAMIA nappies he will do 1 wee and i am feeling it through the nappy, which is not nice when we are out and about and it is a lot harder to change frequently.
-When i change nappies, their skin underneath is quite wet unlike when i use other nappies.
So apart from price and feel of these nappies, I would recommend these to a friend : (

I have used Mamia Nappies on my kids since birth. I think they are just as good if not better than the huggies brand. They are super absorbent and my kids have never had a nappy rash whilst we used them. My son is currently using the pull up Night Nappies and they are fantastic. He never wets through and they are really easy for him to pull up and down to get to the toilet. They are great value

We love the Mamia range of nappies - we used the newborn & infant nappies when my daughter was just born and they were MUCH better than the huggies newborn! She stayed in the different sizes longer too! We had less leakages than with huggies and they are so good we haven't even considered trying another brand.

When you have more then one in nappies you start to look at ways to reduce your costs. I found the aldi brand mamia nappies excellent! No leaks, no issues, and get so many nappies for the price. Would deffinitely recommend these to anyone with a bubba in nappies who needs to cut costs.
I have purchased these nappies when aldi bought them out in the big boxes rather than the smaller packs. The boxes are really good value for money. I paid about $17.00 and the were around 80 nappies in the box. I think they only bring the boxes around once a year. My only dissapointment is that they don't sit as well as other nappies I have tried around my little ones waist. I think this is because of the design of the tabs. I have had no problems with leakage, and they look comfortable. I would still buy them again.

How to choose the best lunch box for school
When you’re searching for a kids’ lunch box, take the time to work out what will best suit their needs. If you make the right choice and invest in a quality one, it will last many years.
Box, bento or bag? If your child doesn’t like different foods touching, a bento lunch box is a great choice. Also, think about whether they prefer cut-up or whole fruit; a bento is better suited to cut food, while bags and boxes suit whole fruit. Bags are fantastic if you like to pack separate containers, like smaller bento or snack containers.
Freshness is a must – An insulated bag or box will keep everything cool and fresh until snack and lunchtime. But you can also get boxes that come with cold and ice packs. Remember, kids’ lunches often sit at room temperature for up to 5 or 6 hours before they’re eaten, so insulation and coolness are important. Check out how to keep school lunches safe in the heat.
Easy-to-clean design – Check if the box is dishwasher-safe, or for lunch bags, if they’re machine-washable.
Leak-proof – The last thing you want is a soggy mess at lunchtime, so if buying a hard lunch box, look for designs that are leak-proof with proper seals.
Child-friendly – Depending on your child’s motor skills and independence, you may need to start with a product that’s simple to open and close.
The right size – We tend to pack way too much in our kids’ lunches, so think about how much realistically you’ll need to pack for your child when choosing the size of their lunch box. You may also need to consider the size of their school bags.

Each is cleverly designed with a removable divider that allows you to choose between using three or four compartments. Each comes with a mesh pocket for ice bricks, a top carry handle, a secure zip closure and enough internal space to fit a medium bento box.

Designed out of necessity by a problem-solving mum, the OmieBox encourages low-waste lunches and ends the need to use multiple clunky containers (which always get lost!). The spill-proof individual compartments mean no mixing of savoury and sweet, and the 280ml double-wall thermos keeps soups and pasta hot for up to six hours!
Health professionals agree that kids need a good balance of lean protein, grains, fruit and vegetables throughout the school day. Skip the processed food and try to reach for whole foods that pack a punch in the nutrient department. Here are some great ideas:
Grilled chicken or turkey wraps with fresh salad
Crackers and vegetable sticks with healthy dips like hummus
Whole-grain pasta with cherry tomatoes and your choice of cheese
Zucchini slice cut into rectangles for easy stacking in an insulated box
That lunchbox comparison table is handy to have. It helped me make a decision on which lunchbox to buy next for my daughter who is starting kindergarten. I needed to upgrade her lunchbox but wasn’t sure which way to go. The table helped me with my decision. I ended up going with the BBOX and have found a cheaper lunch bag from a department store that it fits in.
I do not know if anyone else has picked up on this or not, but every bag mentioned in the table above is a ‘designer’ brand. There are plenty of more affordable options that aren’t over $40. I have never spent that much on a lunchbox – even from Smiggle. The cheaper brands last just as well too.
Getting ready for the return to school has started to kick in so this was a timely read. We have the yum box and i love it, it is so easy for my daughter to open and close on her own. I find the lunch cooler bags also a great idea however some days depending on what else needs to go to school, they can be quite bulky to include in the school bag. I need to do some more research this year as i like the idea of being able to watch it in the washing machine, that is a clever idea.
Along with all of the other back to school products; there is also a good range of lunch boxes available for people to buy. It has been fun to see the wide range of bottles and lunch boxes that are available for the new year for school and for work.
Lunch boxes have come such a long way since my eldest was a kid, he’s now 26! There’s really a solution to everything from food heating, cooling, dividers, pockets etc etc. Lunch boxes are a real fashion accessory and so on-trend these days. I personally love the Bento lunch boxes. They save on plastic and separate different foods.
I am such a huge fan of Bento lunch boxes and Bento. Food should be so many wonderful things; including delicious, fun, colourful and nutritious too. Lunch is a favourite meal because the body is ready for some more calories and a boost of energy. Food looks so good in Bento lunch boxes.
So so many fantastic options! We use the montii co ones for our kdis and swear by it. Its lasted 3 years so far and still standing strong, like new since the first day using it. They are so durable and i find cleaning them to be the easiest for us.
There are so many great lunch box option out there indeed ! I’ve always liked the Bento style lunch boxes for my kids. It reduces the use of plastic lunch bags and packaged food which aren’t very good for the environment and it encourages to present a good variety of foods (which is not only better nutrition wise but lao to prevent our kids from getting bored with same foods all the time.
There are some really fabulous options here. So many variations of colour, shape and size. I love the bento style lunch boxes, so handy to keep food separate and eliminate the use of plastic packaging. The machine washable bags are a great idea too. They can get grubby so fast, this would be so much easier to maintain
This has gotten much easier since my kids hit high school – they have strong opinions about their lunch boxes, so I don’t have to think about it so much anymore! However, I am strongly in favor of bento style boxes regardless of their age. They’re easy to clean, easy to pack, and invite appropriate sized portions.
Great article! Our kids are so lucky, when it comes to lunchboxes, they really are spoilt for choice. There are so many to pick from. Regarding sandwiches, my eldest son, used to hate sandwiches for school lunches. It wasn’t until many years later that I discovered that he’d throw out his sandwiches in the playground bins. My son’s an adult now and he still hates sandwiches. He only likes “hot” lunches. So glad he lives on his own now and can make his own “hot” lunches just the way he likes them.
This is an extremely useful article!! 2 schppl going kids and third starting kinder soon means we are always on the lookout for lunch ideas and lunch boxes. This is a great list with features and prices listed to make the search easier and help with decision making for purchasing of the lunch boxes
This is super useful article and thank you. I can see so variety of lunch boxes from every store. Always wonder which one would be more convenient to use by little hands. I love some of these lunchboxes to give it a try for this year. And then decide to go with suitable ones
Wow, lunch boxes have really come such a long way from when I was taking a lunch box to school. Feel old, like “back in my day”, but we were lucky to have options like are available now. While I like some of these designs, I feel like they aren’t super practical.
These lunchboxes are beautiful but are they really worth the expensive price tag? I have been through so many lunch boxes and bags over the years and found the best it to use an insulated lunchbox bag with ice brick and use small containers to keep individual items fresh and assessable.
I love the bbox lunch boxes. They are so reliable and tough when kids throw their bags around. Easy to wash and store. I have used the we can be tiny snackies at home too. The boys love choosing a certain animal shape. They wash well, are durable and great quality.
My kids are old enough now to pack their own lunches and I am so happy to see the great choices they are making. They take left over meals, cook food in the morning to take and now I am confident they aren’t throwing away sandwiches! I do have the chilly bags for them, I find they fit better into bags
My daughter uses a bento box now for work and sometimes an insulated bag in summer, but when she was at school it was a rectangular lunch box with no compartments. It was very easy to wash each day, just the box and lid, and it could still be filled with rolls/sandwiches and snacks.
Lunchboxes are so important these days. Back in my day it was a brown paper bag or the exact same lunch box that everyone else had and there were three compartments. Today its such a fashion statement and as much as the lunchbox itself is judged so are the contents.

Awesome, Great, Super, Fantastic, Wonderful!

Great value for money!
I have heard from friends with sons that Mamia nappies aren't as effective as gender specific nappies from other brands. However, speaking from experience - Mamia nappies are fantastic for girls of all ages!

Love these Nappies
My son know refers to them as his ducky pants whenever we have to change him and refuses to wear anything else.
The only downside to these nappies is that they are not available in my state and as such i have to get my mum to send them to us every month.

Not the best nappies

Great price, but for me not such a great product
