I’ll be honest. I really wanted to be blown away by this, but I didn’t really expect to. I figured I’d buy it, and be annoyed that I wasted $30. But truly, my house backs onto a mangrove swamp, (yuck!), and the mosquitoes in summer are the WORST! They attack in swarms, and will literally drive you out of a room when they gang up on you. The poor baby cops it the worst. So I decided to give it a go, and I am so glad I did! For the last month, we have had minimal mosquitoes in the house! MAYBE four or five a day, which is REALLY saying something, when you consider that it wouldn’t have been unusual to have twenty or more in the space of an hour!
I genuinely cannot recommend this product enough! It even smells nice!

Unfortunately my house has limited fly screens, and in the QLD humidity I always try to have enough breeze to keep us cool. With that comes unwanted insects, flies being my major issue. After reading and hearing rave reviews about Mortein Naturgaurd we decided to purchase it last week and hubby and I are very impressed .
Having young children running in and out of back yard and leaving security door open, we always used to have insects flying into the house. Since using this Naturgaurd, we no longer face this problem and I no longer need to scream to close fly/security door close.

This is such a simple idea yet works amazingly. The tropical life is great but we get waves of insects after a rain or change of weather. These did not smell bad or cause coughing like most sprays. I hate having sprays and we can not use many as my son will be sneezing all night and their not good for the fish in the tank but this works a treat and the kids have been bite free for weeks. The smell actually helps my sons sneezing lessen which is great he gets to wake with a clear head.

I found assembly of the unit very easy and it start working killing pests straight away. We mounted our unit at height on the wall and it was effective at killing flies, mosquitoes and even cockroaches although it did not seem to worry our spiders. Only issue is it was hard to notice when the aerosol needs replacing and the clip cover is a little flimsy. It also seems safe and doesn’t disturb our pets and children

Moreton nature guard for indoor use is a great guard to protect the whole family especially little ones, the eucalyptus is a really great smell to mask the normal horrible smell these insect repellents normally have. The price is pretty good but like everything at the moment it is a bit deer but I guess safer than a citronella candle .

We were very happy with the Mortein Nuturgard Auto Protect Insect controller. We have small kids and they are constantly leaving doors open. In summer we get bombarded with flies, and I hate flies. I found the smell actually a bit too strong as we live in an apartment. I struggle with mosquito bits and they zero in on the kids and I found that since using this indoors the bites have really decreased which is great. It doesn’t completely eliminate insects but goes along way to controlling the levels and it means I am also then free to do other things and not run around with spray cans and fly squatters.

I was always scared to use chemicals so before this product I used nothing.
I noticed no mosquitos or flys while using this product. I have no fly screens or screen doors and because I’m pregnant I wouldn’t use any strong chemicals.

This has gotten much easier since my kids hit high school – they have strong opinions about their lunch boxes, so I don’t have to think about it so much anymore! However, I am strongly in favor of bento style boxes regardless of their age. They’re easy to clean, easy to pack, and invite appropriate sized portions.
Great article! Our kids are so lucky, when it comes to lunchboxes, they really are spoilt for choice. There are so many to pick from. Regarding sandwiches, my eldest son, used to hate sandwiches for school lunches. It wasn’t until many years later that I discovered that he’d throw out his sandwiches in the playground bins. My son’s an adult now and he still hates sandwiches. He only likes “hot” lunches. So glad he lives on his own now and can make his own “hot” lunches just the way he likes them.

Wow, lunch boxes have really come such a long way from when I was taking a lunch box to school. Feel old, like “back in my day”, but we were lucky to have options like are available now. While I like some of these designs, I feel like they aren’t super practical.
These lunchboxes are beautiful but are they really worth the expensive price tag? I have been through so many lunch boxes and bags over the years and found the best it to use an insulated lunchbox bag with ice brick and use small containers to keep individual items fresh and assessable.
I love the bbox lunch boxes. They are so reliable and tough when kids throw their bags around. Easy to wash and store. I have used the we can be tiny snackies at home too. The boys love choosing a certain animal shape. They wash well, are durable and great quality.
My kids are old enough now to pack their own lunches and I am so happy to see the great choices they are making. They take left over meals, cook food in the morning to take and now I am confident they aren’t throwing away sandwiches! I do have the chilly bags for them, I find they fit better into bags
My daughter uses a bento box now for work and sometimes an insulated bag in summer, but when she was at school it was a rectangular lunch box with no compartments. It was very easy to wash each day, just the box and lid, and it could still be filled with rolls/sandwiches and snacks.
Lunchboxes are so important these days. Back in my day it was a brown paper bag or the exact same lunch box that everyone else had and there were three compartments. Today its such a fashion statement and as much as the lunchbox itself is judged so are the contents.
