  Better results this try

  So on my second application I used a bit more product in my hair and made sure left it on for the full 3 mins, much better results. I feel it dulled the stripe of grey, so the regrowth was much less obvious although by day 3 although I hadn’t washed my hair it was like the refreshers effects had disappeared, I don’t spend lots of time in the sun without a hat so not quite sure about this ?

  I used the red Schwarzkopf refresher!!

  I love the fact that you can do this in the shower! However the red does leave a little colour on your hands and my white tiles. I found it took two goes to cover most of my greys. The first time I didn’t use it though the grey was back!!

  Good In between product...

  I have used the product twice now and left on for a little longer the second time. The first time it did not quite cover the grey regrowth as much as I expected. The second time was a little better but still not great at covering the greys…..in saying that I never expected it to cover my greys but just refresh the colour I had already had put in……it did just that and the Colour was revived and had a shine to it. I loved that about the product and would buy and use again in between my normal colouring.

  Better the second time!

  I used the product for a second time and made sure I put a lot of foam in my hair. I also left it in for a longer time. This time the results were better. I do think I could have left the product in for longer for an even better really – so hot tip – use a timer!

  I found that there was more a of noticeable change in colour – my old foils were not as brassy.

  This product can be used daily so I think that initially, it will take a few uses before you know the amount of product and length of time required to achieve the results that you want.

  Great and easy to use, but not really long-lasting.

  Having your hair dyed at a hair salon is quite an expensive process – especially in store – home salons are not so bad. So it is great that Schwarzkopf have tried to cater to the modern woman – developing a nice range of hair colours and shades and doing it at a price that it friendly on the family budget. They are really simple and easy to use. The only problem that i have is if you use one of the dark colours, that the hair dye tends to fade quite quickly.

  Easy to use and lots of shine

  The product is very easy to apply and leave your hair looking really shiny. However it does take a few applications before it covers the greys. Still a great product and would use it again but not when all my greys are on show ..

  I tried it this morning and although quite easy to use the grey coverage wasn’t quite as good as implied on the pack, BUT I may not have left it on long enough…..might use a timer next time !! I did love the shine and feel after drying my hair though.

  good first impressions

  Tried it this morning and found it easy to use but found the covering of grey wasn’t quite as good as I hoped but I perhaps didn’t leave it on for quite long enough. will try again next wash and leave for a little longer, I did like the shine and feel though.

  great lasting colour and ease of use

  it was simple and easy to use not fuss at all, even my husband helped me colour my hair nicely without all the usually mess and stains that you used to get on your hands if you didn’t put the gloves on. It was very quick and left my hair with a great colour and nice and smooth and silky and shiny, it also covered my greys really well. It is also great that it is not just a one use box.

  Consistent results !

  I have used the product in cool brown for three times now and every time it gives good results. I have used spray cans and powders in the past for quick root touch ups but they change the texture of my hair and dont last long. Schwarzkorp live refresher not only conceals greys but also makes the hair soft and shiny. If you apply it twice and for a longer time such as 5 to 10 minutes then it adds colour. Applying for 3 minutes refrehes it and there is less hair breakage. The before and after pics say it all ! I would definitely recommend this to other mums.

  Easy to use, needs more processing time

  I found the product to be easy to apply – mousse like consistency makes it mess free to use in the shower.

  It’s great that you can get more than one application out of the bottle.

  I love that it doesn’t require gloves for application.

  On the downside, I didn’t notice much of a difference in hair colour after using it. The problem was that I probably needed to leave it in longer (I’m impatient and only left it in for the minimum 3 minutes). If I’d left it in for 10 minutes I would have gotten a better result. Using more of the product could also be helpful. I did find it a bit difficult to know if I had applied enough to cover my hair.

  Overall the concept is a great idea. You can use it once a week and I think frequent use would help with knowing the time and amount of product required to achieve the desired result.

  Disappointing results

  The red colour refresher by schwarzkopf LIVE salon was in an easy to use mousse form. The product was applied fast and didn’t drip. After applying the refresher my hair was smoother and glossy, however it didn’t live up to my expectations no colour was added to my hair. My hair lacked freshness and it will not extend the life of my colour

  Amazing stuff!

  I just love this range so easy and quick to use and great coverage with high gloss! So In love love with this product. I highly recommend this product to the busy mum on the go that wants to hide the greys and look amazing, just like you stepped out of the salon without the hefty price tag!

  Worth a try

  First time using this product, the only thing I noticed was how silky soft and smooth and shiny my hair felt afterwards. As for colour, I saw no change and my greys seemed to even more highlighted due to shine.
  On second use, I left it in m y hair a little longer and I did notice the greys were slightly covered. They were much less visible. I’m hoping by the third try the greys will be even less.

  Not particularly good over grey hair

  I followed the instructions and left the foam on for 3 minutes. When washed out there was no coverage on the grey hairs. The next week I tried it and left it on for 6 minutes. Again no affect on the grey hairs. They were shining through.
  I do prefer the root touch up I normally use on dry hair before I have a shower. I found it inconvenient putting the foam on in the shower and starting the timer. I was not very happy with the product at all.

  Easy tonuse aesthetically pleasing packaging , overall 4 out of 5

  Generally a great product . Shower use makes you work blind ans wonder if you missed a spot. Also a little inconvenient as had to just stand there for 3+minutes. Couldn’t shave my legs in that’s ima as the mouse ( which was no Lo her a mouse by that time) would drip into my eyes if I bent down. I am yet to see how it covers my greys with repeated application. Grey coverage between colouring to me is more important than the vibrancy of colour.

  I was impressed when my package arrived, The instructions were clear and easy understand and the product looks easy to use….love that no gloves required and can do in the shower, with no staining. Also quite a number of applications in a bottle so will be economical. Looking forward to trying it soon as my greys do show between those long salon visits.

  Gloss hair with minimal time and fuss.

  I really enjoyed this product and would gladly recommend and use it.
  It was pretty easy to apply and the waiting time for it to develop was only 3 minutes or so. I rinsed it out and had no dye left on my face (as you do when doing a home dye). My hair was quite glossy and the greys were minimally covered. I think with continuous use it will cover more of the greys and that’s great as it doesn’t take long to use and will get better and better with each application. This product is an absolute God-send, as I struggle to get to the hairdresser to colour my hair and give it a treatment. I just can’t seem to find the time to have a hair dye sit in my hair for 30 mins and then rinse it and scrub away at all the stains left behind – at home dyeing. This product has made my life easier and I can now achieve the colour and lustre I long for.
