    Technology has come a long way, a mixmaster with such amazing technology. To be able to heat just on its own saves so much time and dishes, makes life so much easier when cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Having a large 5.2lt mixing bowl is another great added extra. Great product

  • Fav Baking Appliance

    I have been using this mixer for a few months now and every time I use it I feel like Martha Stewart. I am in love with the chocolate “melt” function- I use it to drizzle over chocolates, dip cake pops and cover fruit with it. It is impossible to burn chocolate.. the soften function is incredible too, used for butter. Last thing on my to do list is to let the butter get to room temperature so this machine is my hero.
    I cannot wait for more sunbeam recipes to come out so I can try some more of their recipes! Great appliance.

  • Final review and ultimate test - we love it!

    We were lucky to have our friends 25th wedding anniversary and vow renewal literally the week after we received the mixer – so it got a real workout making this 4 layer semi-naked chocolate cake! Easiest cake I’ve ever made thanks to the soften feature and intense speed for whipping up icing making it light (in both texture and colour!). Thank you for the opportunity MoM and Sunbeam!

  • Sunbeam Mixer

    We’ve been using the mixer for a while now and it continues to impress!

    I love that for most recipes all ingredients can be thrown in and the mixer does all the work!! Especially the melt function, allowing you to melt chocolate perfectly before throwing in dry ingredients- it works a charm and is so easy without burning or overcooking.

    The design is super simple with a dial to control the speed making is so easy to use – even my 5 year old has mastered it! The “splatter guard” ensures the bench stays clean too !

  • First impressions are fabulous of this machine!

    We have never owned our own mixer before (always have to borrow the parents!) and so we were so excited to un-box this mixer and get started! Our kitchen is less than Insta-worthy but this mixer is stunning, and brings a real modern vibe to the space. Love the look and feel of the buttons and the turn dial too. Also love the weight and feel of the different attachments and particularly the guard which seems to fit and seal the bowl perfectly.

  • Sunbeam Mixer- first use

    We unboxed and used our mixer for the first time today, and I’m impressed! The mixer is a decent size, but still compact. The look and colours are stylish with “rose gold” trim for those who like to keep their mixer on the counter.
    It is extremely easy to use (my 5yo easily could use the speed dial). We used the soften function today which was great, I think the melt will be a game changer! The instruction manual provided a quick guide to which mixer head we needed and the mixer mixed the smoothest cookie dough I have ever made!

  • The perfect mixer does exist!

    The Sunbeam MIXMASTER® HEATSOFT PLANETARY MIXER is an absolute game changer. It quickly softens butter and brings cream cheese to room temperature which is a huge time saver. It can also melt butter and chocolate- without burning it! All of this also means you use less bowls and there’s less clean up. I give this mixer a 10/10.

  • Looks beautiful and has everything you could want

    Before reviews on softening butter, I wanted to show you closely what the mixer looks like. It’s so pretty and the colour looks perfect in the kitchen. Apologies my video is in selfie mode so it is all reversed but I think you get the idea. On first impressions it looks perfect, all the attachments you need, dough hook, spatula scraper beater, normal hard beater and whisk.   • Unboxing the Sunbeam Heatsoft Stand Mixer

    The Sunbeam Heatsoft stand mixer makes baking so much quicker and easier. It cuts down on time because you don’t need to wait for your butter to soften -it can do that for you. It melts chocolate without burning it and the mixing is handfree. It also means less dishes because you only use the one bowl. I can’t wait to try a cake in it next.

  • Never burn chocolate again.

    I always avoid any type of baking or food prep that involves melting chocolate because I ALWAYS burn it. I’ve tried all the methods and still manage to burn it every time. Burnt chocolate is gross. When I heard that the @sunbeam_anz MIXMASTER® HEATSOFT PLANETARY MIXER melted chocolate and that it was impossible to burn it, I knew I had to have one. I was so lucky to be selected to review it for you guys. I decided to test it with one of my favourites -Malteser Slice. The mixer made making this recipe so easy! It melted the butter for me and the chocolate all in the one bowl. And the chocolate melted perfectly first try!
    Here’s the recipe:

    125 g butter
    395 g sweetened condensed milk
    2 tbs cocoa powder
    250 g plain sweet biscuits like Arnotts Marie
    2 cups (60g) rice bubbles
    280 g Maltesers
    200 g white chocolate
    2tbs coconut oil or vegetable oil/copha, melted (optional)

    Line a baking tray with baking paper.
    Put the the butter, condensed milk and cocoa into the bowl and press the soften button then the select button to melt. Once it starts to melt you can whisk until smooth. Use the heat guard to keep the heat in while mixing.
    Crush biscuits.
    Stir the crushed biscuits, rice bubbles and 1 cup halved Maltesers (leave the remaining Maltesers for decorating the top of the slice) through the melted butter/sweeteened condensed milk and cocoa mixture. Mix until completely combined.
    Press firmly into tray.
    Put the white chocolate and Copha in the bowl and press the soften button then the select button to melt. Once it starts to melt stir on setting number 1 until smooth and melted.
    Pour over slice.
    Press the remaining Maltesers into the chocolate.
    Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.

    My 3 favourite features are:
    1. Melting chocolate without being able to burn it
    2. Softening butter
    3. The mixer being a stand so that your hands are free while it’s mixing.
    I absolutely love it.

  • Great for biscuits!

    When my son asks to make biscuits I use to have to say no, as the butter was never out softened and ready to go and biscuits never turn out the same if I melt the butter in the microwave. Fortunately with this mixer that isn’t a problem. So when my son asked to make biscuits today I had no reason to say no with the mix masters heat technology that softens the butter as it beats it. It worked a treat and the biscuits turned out amazing. In addition I love that the beater actually scrapes down the sides as it beats. My old mix master didn’t quite reach the sides and I had to constantly stop the machine and manually scrape the sides down.

    Would 110% recommend! Unfortunately my little one accidentally pulled the cord to my one causing it to break. But would definitely buy again when I can! Amazing

    I personally don’t own one but wish I did; my neighbour has one and it is amazing. Its easy to use for everyone in the family. My favourite feature on this great machine is the soften and melt selection, saves a lot of washing up as you don’t need a lot of different bowls. Great size bowl with 10 speed selections…… amazing machine

  • Absolutely love it.

    I am in love with this mixer. It does the job so much better compared to my old name brand mixer with the added benefit of the best functions. No more do I have to worry about planning ahead to soften the butter nor do I have to risk over melting chocolate in the microwave or using multiple things to melt it on the stove. This mixer ticks all the right boxes for me.

    This is such a great investment for me it makes bakeing so much easier a quickly I love it and couldn’t live without it now Ive tried it, this would definitely be handy for all though bakers needing a little something to help them get the job done quickly, I will definitely highly recommend this to everyone

  • Time Saver Mix Master

    My final review after using this mixmaster for a few weeks now. I still love it and it saves me time in the kitchen by using the melt and soften functions. Just pop the butter or chocolate in and the machine does the rest. Highly recommend for any bakers out there.

    This fab looking Sunbeam Mixmaster HeatSoft mixer is my new favorite and is a family friendly kitchen appliance!
    ! I love baking so decided to try Mixmaster® HeatSoft™ Planetary Mixer.
    The white mixer (I have a white theme happening in the kitchen!) and its a great! I can leave the mixer on and prepare other ingredients so it cuts my prep time in half! I love how easy to clean it is and the attachments that comes with it. The cakes I have made with this have been perfect! It also looks great on the kitchen counter. It’s adjustable speeds make it easy to change the density and texture of the mixture. With Sunbeam’s HeatSoft™ stand mixer, you can take the guesswork out and reduce extra prep time that comes with using a stove or a microwave.
    Simply in love with the innovative feature. The innovative HeatSoft™ Technology is the new way to mix and melt all in one! Soften fridge cold butter or melt chocolate while mixing, in one simple step for faster and easier baked goods. My boys also loves it and said The Soften & Melt heat selections are just fantastic and they really love the LED light too. It saves time and makes baking that much more enjoyable!
    This has helped with saving time in the kitchen. I love the colour and the look of the product, it matches everything else in my kitchen. I particularly like the large size of the bowl, made it easy to keep everything clean.

  • The Sunbeam Mixmaster HeatSoft is a family friendly kitchen appliance!

    We’ve had the Mixmaster for a week now and finally had chance to get cooking after sharing our first impressions a few days ago! Our little man loved helping me to get the right attachment set up and changing the settings to melt our butter and make pancakes for our ritual Saturday morning breakfast! The Mixmaster made sure the butter was smooth (yet not hot) and so mixed beautifully when flour and other ingredients were added. Best part was that our little man could add the other ingredients safely and easily using the chute!

  • Video Review

    The Sunbeam Heatsoft mixer is the first mix master we’ve owned, and I wish we had got one sooner! I really love how simple the design is, so easy for anyone to use- the booklet is handy too if you’re not sure which accessory to attach !
    I usually bake with my two daughters and am so impressed with how clean the bench is now we are using the mixer – the splash guard ensures most ingredients are contained in the bowl and the heat/soften feature minimises the number of utensils needed when baking!

  • Sunbeam Mixer

    We’ve been using the mixer for a while now and it continues to impress!

    I love that for most recipes all ingredients can be thrown in and the mixer does all the work!! Especially the melt function, allowing you to melt chocolate perfectly before throwing in dry ingredients- it works a charm and is so easy without burning or overcooking.

    The design is super simple with a dial to control the speed making is so easy to use – even my 5 year old has mastered it! The “splatter guard” ensures the bench stays clean too !

  • First impressions are fabulous of this machine!

    We have never owned our own mixer before (always have to borrow the parents!) and so we were so excited to un-box this mixer and get started! Our kitchen is less than Insta-worthy but this mixer is stunning, and brings a real modern vibe to the space. Love the look and feel of the buttons and the turn dial too. Also love the weight and feel of the different attachments and particularly the guard which seems to fit and seal the bowl perfectly.

  • I’ll never burn chocolate again!

    I was so impressed with the melt function and how perfectly it tempered the chocolate and kept it from setting while I was coating biscuits and strawberries. I’ve had a few problems with melted chocolate before but now I’ll never have any trouble again with the Sunbeam Heatsoft Mixer.

  • Love the melt/soft function

    I’ve been using this mixer for a few weeks now baking up some goodies for the family. I love the soften function so I can stick my butter straight in and then soften it while cooking. Such a great appliance to have in the kitchen.

  • Excellent quality, stylish, sturdy and easy to use

    Our first use of the Sunbeam Mixmaster® HeatSoftTM Planetary Mixer was to test out the Melt heat setting to melt chocolate to coat some shortbread fingers and I was very impressed. The chocolate melted easily and consistently and stayed liquid without setting before we were finished. And I love that you cannot burn chocolate in here either, which means I’ll be attempting more challenging bakes using tempered chocolate now, something I’ve struggled with many times before.

    I also like it’s size, it’s not too bulky and it’s stylish presentation looks great displayed on the kitchen bench.

  • Japan in a can? That really does sound interesting! I wouldn’t mind knowing what Japan tastes like 🙂 I love the idea of the grape flavour but I’m not sure about whiskey. It would definitely be an interesting mix. The trial team gave great feedback and I’m now even more interested in giving it a taste test

  • I wasn’t picked for this trial – what a shame – but it sounds quite tasty. I’m someone who likes to nurse a drink for a while (mostly because I don’t drink a lot in terms of quantity) and savor the drink. These sound like great options for drinkers like me.
