How do I use Sustagen Kid Essentials?

Add Sustagen Kid Essentials to smoothies & milkshakes, add to pancakes, cupcakes and muffins, sprinkle over cereal or fruit and yoghurt or simply make up a wholesome glass of Sustagen Kid Essentials. To prepare, mix 7 scoops or 55g of powder into 210mL of water or milk.

    had to buy some more today. the kids love it. they only have one glass a day but they love that glass. and they never forget to have a glass. I am very happy with this product. it has cut flavoured milk out of the picture for good I think.

  • Good for the kids and they like it.

    My kids have a real love of flavoured milk. and due to the amount of sugar and lack of goodness (apart from the milk itself) they are not allowed to drink it unless its a special occasion or a treat. this product as made my kids very happy. they are now allowed one glass of “flavoured milk” per day. they think all their Christmases have come at once. It good for them and they love it.

    I have been using Sustagen Kid Essentials for the last two years. I now have three children that have it on a daily basis. I go through roughly eight tins a month. My five year old is an extremely fussy eater, and I was often concerned about whether or not he was getting enough nutrients to meet the requirements for his age.

    Kid Essentials gives me peace of mind as it is extremely nourishing and my fussy eater enjoys the taste of it without a problem. I will definitely be starting my fourth little one on it as soon as he reaches twelve months as it is an excellent product and I highly recommend it!

  • I had never seen this product before until i came across it on word of mums, i was amazed at what other mums where saying about the product on the reviews so again this is another product i decided to try My kids are so fussy so for me getting this would help them in alot of way, they loved the taste of it and they had fun mixing it together now they drink it daily so thank you to all the mums on here

    after reading the reviews i got this for the kids, they loved it, and reading all the benefits like Sustagen Kid Essentials is a nutritionally complete drink for children aged 1 – 10.     I happily give my kids this healthy, nutritious, good tasting drink, they love it so much and it is very healthy for them, i love knowing my kids are getting the right nutrients and calcium intake while they are enjoying their drink, its so hard to find something that is all these things

    Sustagen Kid Essential is an easy way for me to make sure that my kids are getting the the nutrients they need in their diet.   • Happy satisfied funny eaters!

    With 2 fussy 3 yr olds I felt a bit of relief when this product came on the market. I had been buying normal sustagen for my self for years as I would always skip breakfast and would be very busy around lunch time so I was depriving my self of much needed nutrients, Now with the fussy kids I can give them sustagen and feel a bit of relief in knowing they are getting things they are missing out on when they refuse to eat!

    What’s not to love about a product that provides kids with nutrients they may miss from being fussy eaters!!!! My 2 year old LOVES her milk drinks, and this is no exception. She has a glass a few times a week before her nap, and its comforting to know that even though she may not eat her lunch or dinner, she’s still getting everything she needs.

    As i have 2 very fussy girls and i did hesitate to try this product on them. To my surprise they both love it. the kids love the vanilla flavor they enjoy a drink with there breakfast as they are not big breakfast eaters so i know they have had something good when they drink there sustangen.

    Great to have as a standby product when kids are feeling a little under the weather and not so hungry. Also a good energy boost when immune system may be a little challenged .I would recommend this product to other parents and grandparents to have in their kitchen pantry at home

  • Great for Kids

    I have just tried this product (recommended by a friend) as my kids have just had a bad belt of a tummy bug and were not eating very much at all but they were managing to drink easily. They loved the taste and were more than happy to have it. I was really glad to see that it contained the minerals and vitamins that my children where lacking from not eating. Now that the bug is gone I will still be buying it for them to drink with their milk.

    I have this at home for my two little ones. They drink 2-3 times a week. Usually when they get home from school – they like it cold from the fridge. It is good to know that they are getting necessary vitamins and minerals that they may not get from their diet.

    This is great as a top up to give me piece of mind that my son has all the nutrients he needs. I would highly recommend it as a great way to supplement your growing childrens diet. Its easy to prepare and kids love it,although my son eats quite a healthy diet, it just give me confidence knowing that I am helping him that little bit more.

    This product is good. I am always worry about my son getting vitamins he needs. But all i can say is maybe make it taste abit better. You know what kids are like. I have purchased one tin after going to the baby expo and seeing it displayed but my son doesn’t like the taste .

  • I would love to try this product but the last time I went to the shop to buy one, it says on the package not to give to children under 2. I was disappointed coz I have 2 boys and I can’t give one kid a drink and give one to the other. I used to love sustagen when I was a kid, it was like a treat for me so I know what my other son would feel if he didn’t get one and his older brother get one.

  • Fussy eater

    I havn’t personally tried this product but my cousin in law has used this for her 2 year old. He was born at 26weeks so very premature, & has been a very slow developer (growth). When it comes to mealtimes he can be very fussy but ever since she has included sustagen kids essentials in his diet he has improved quite alot.

  • Great! My daughter loved it

    I got a sample of this including some info & growth chart from sustagen. This was a great product, my daughter loved it and I loved knowing it was good for her. So easy to prepare and a great product for kids who are fussy eaters. I highly recommend it.

  • More flavours a needed

    This was nice and easy to make. One of my kids loved it so much she wanted more, the one didn’t like the taste of it at all however she doesn’t like vanilla. It would be great if it came in a chocolate flavour… What kid doesn’t love chocolate and they would get all the goodness out of it

    I recently got to personally try this before buying it and giving it to my almost 2 yr old, whom reccently has decided she doesnt like eatting…its been hard trying to get her to eat much of anything but when i gave her this “special” drink a “treat” and to my suprise she LOVED it ive since been able to mix it into fruit smoothies and also into muffin mixture which has worked wonders knowing she is getting all the right things! Highly reccomend this stuff!!!

  • Wonderful

    My husband got a sample of this product and we tried it on our two children. They both enjoyed the taste, it was very easy to prepare… even daddys can’t get this wrong! Both have turned into fussy eaters and getting nutrients into them is a nightmare… they won’t even take kids vitamins but they love mkilkshakes so this works a treat and we added some mashed banana and vanilla yoghurt to it for a really tasty treat!

  • great for added nutrition

    I found the individual serve pouches and pre prepared packs are great for when you out with the kids. It’s a great treat that keeps them in the pram or trolley while they drink it and it’s good for them as well. Look for specials and once i open the larger tins, i separate it and keep half stored in an airtight container in the freezer to increase longevity of product.

  • Im a huge fan of Sustagen. I looked everywhere for this and ended up getting my pharmacist to order it in -I have 2 very picky little eaters and thought this would be a great boost to their crappy diet -however at $35 a tin, that is meant to be discarded 4 weeks after opening I won’t be purchasing it again. Also my kids who will drink anything were not very keen on the flavour – it had an old melted vanilla Icecream flavour. If it came in chocolate and in smaller more economical tins, and at the supermarket I would purchase it again.
