How do I use Sustagen Kid Essentials?

Add Sustagen Kid Essentials to smoothies & milkshakes, add to pancakes, cupcakes and muffins, sprinkle over cereal or fruit and yoghurt or simply make up a wholesome glass of Sustagen Kid Essentials. To prepare, mix 7 scoops or 55g of powder into 210mL of water or milk.

    had to buy some more today. the kids love it. they only have one glass a day but they love that glass. and they never forget to have a glass. I am very happy with this product. it has cut flavoured milk out of the picture for good I think.

  • Good for the kids and they like it.

    My kids have a real love of flavoured milk. and due to the amount of sugar and lack of goodness (apart from the milk itself) they are not allowed to drink it unless its a special occasion or a treat. this product as made my kids very happy. they are now allowed one glass of “flavoured milk” per day. they think all their Christmases have come at once. It good for them and they love it.

    I have been using Sustagen Kid Essentials for the last two years. I now have three children that have it on a daily basis. I go through roughly eight tins a month. My five year old is an extremely fussy eater, and I was often concerned about whether or not he was getting enough nutrients to meet the requirements for his age.

    Kid Essentials gives me peace of mind as it is extremely nourishing and my fussy eater enjoys the taste of it without a problem. I will definitely be starting my fourth little one on it as soon as he reaches twelve months as it is an excellent product and I highly recommend it!

  • I had never seen this product before until i came across it on word of mums, i was amazed at what other mums where saying about the product on the reviews so again this is another product i decided to try My kids are so fussy so for me getting this would help them in alot of way, they loved the taste of it and they had fun mixing it together now they drink it daily so thank you to all the mums on here

    after reading the reviews i got this for the kids, they loved it, and reading all the benefits like Sustagen Kid Essentials is a nutritionally complete drink for children aged 1 – 10.     I happily give my kids this healthy, nutritious, good tasting drink, they love it so much and it is very healthy for them, i love knowing my kids are getting the right nutrients and calcium intake while they are enjoying their drink, its so hard to find something that is all these things

  • We saw this in the supermarket and decided to try it with our 3yr old son and he loves it. We give him a glass of milk with this in it once a day to help with his vitamin and mineral intake. We will be buying this regularly.

  • What a great way to ensure my kids are healthy!

    Sustagen Kid Essential is an easy way for me to make sure that my kids are getting the the nutrients they need in their diet. I would highly recommend to any parent wanting to make sure their children also are reaching their daily intake of all the minerals and vitamins needed for great health. Its so very easy to prepare and my kids love it,especially cold just out of the fridge as an after school “snack”

    Nestle send me some samples of this great product. Mix with water and you have a good nutritional drink. Something to give with breakfast or even their nightly drink before bed. It has a nice flavour and smell and looks good too. One small glass a day gives your children the nutrient boost they may need

  • Exactly what I needed for my littlies

    I LOVE sustagen. My children love the tast and I love the fact that I know thye are getting a whole bunc of sustagen for their growing bodies than they would ifthey wernt having te sustagen. It gives them a extra energy boost in a healthy way. I am happy and my kids are happy.

  • Great for those "fussy times"

    I bought this for my friend’s little one as my friend was stressing that he wasn’t eating enough and only wanted to drink. We mixed it up and he loved it. It made her feel better knowing that he was getting nutrients from it. It made me feel good giving it to her because Sustagen is such a well known and trusted brand. Both of my kids have the occasional Sustagen. The only downside is it is quite expensive and so for that reason, I would only give it to the little ones when I felt they really needed it.

    I got a sample of this product and gave it to my little ones. They enjoyed the flavour and asked for more. It is full of nutrients and can be given at anytime of the day. I even tried it as a liquid breakfast for my fussy 5 yr old who doesnt like to eat breakky

  • Great for little fussy people

    My daughter is very fussy, she’s going through states where she doesn’t want to eat her meat and veg, I know with this product my daughter is still getting the vitamins and minerals she needs to continue to grow.
    I also have four other children in the house which have no issues with eating but I have added to the daily routine and they love it.

    I have a 3 1/2 year old with autism who is extremely fussy in what he will eat. I am often concerned that his growing body is not receiving the vitamins and minerals that he needs. This product is easy to prepare and tastes great so I have no problems on those fussy days

  • This is great.

    My son was really sick last year and really struggled to put on weight. He was just constantly sick with colds & ear infections and pretty much anything else he got from going to daycare. We started him on this and he loved the taste of it and really started to thrive. He has now put on weight and is much healthier. I would def recommend this product. I also give my older daughter some as well as she does a lot of sports and I think its good to help her make sure she is getting her nutritional needs even though she eats very well with plenty of fruit & vege etc.

    I was part of this review, and I mentioned how I thought some mum’s were thinking this is for fussy eaters as it’s not market based for. I bumped into a mother at hospital recently and her son is considered not thriving, she is struggling to get any nutrients into him. He is now tube fed, but she never heard of it. I ran down to the pharmacy and grabbed her a tin. By the way, I asked the pharmacist, he reassured me, this is not for fussy eaters at all as it contains a lot of something or rather. He says it’s more for children whom have been ill for a week or more and need a good kickstart, kids whom a tube fed, malnurished etc. Anyway, I helped her mix it, and she filled the upside down cup thingy and held it up so it would go down his tube. No issue. She has since called and she says he is actually drinking it in a cup. So I guess some good. She has mentioned it is on the pricey side, but that’s all he is consuming for now.

  • great for fussy eaters if they will drink it

    Unfortunately 2 of my 4 children are fussy eaters so I thought I would give this a go and that way they were getting some extra nutrition they would otherwise miss out one. I told them it was a milk shake (which they all love) and gave it to all 4 of them BUT none of them liked it at all. Looks like they are fussier than I thought!

  • Yummilicious

    After reading all the reviews here i thought to just see what its like.
    My lill one is not fussy but just has days when he wont even take a bite of food.
    He usually never drinks anything but plain milk or water so i was doubting weather he would take it but somehow he just loved it and now asks for it every day ^_^
    Glad with mom for all this reviews and helping other moms have an easier task at choosing what to get

  • We found Sustagen Kid Essentials to be great. I have a very fussy eater and I do worry that she;s not getting all the vitamins and minerals she needs to growth and development from just white or beige coloured food (think plain noodles, plain rice, plain crackers!). But she does love a milk based drink and I feel much happier knowing her diet is boosted by this specially formulated drink. And she likes the taste! Great!

    Unfortunately my children are very fussy eaters. We have tried so many tactics but nothing works. I’m so pleased there are products like this that give me some peace of mind that my children are getting some nutrients into them. The great thing is they love the taste and they don’t complain anymore like they used to when I was giving them supplement tablets to chew.

  • Kids love the taste

    Bought a tin last week. My girls are 2 and 3 and are fussy eaters at present. So i thought Kids Sustagen was worth a try to see if i could get those few extra vitamins and minerals in them that they have been lacking lately. My girls loved the taste! My eldest calls it her “baby milkshakes”. Easy to blend with mix. Recommend.

  • Unnecessary

    Children only need to drink milk and water. They do not need to drink drinks with additives. Kids are great at getting what they need. As long as you are offering them healthy options, this type of product is really unnecessary. Maybe as a treat. However you can make yummy smoothies using natural, wholesome foods without the added sugar.

  • I am so glad Sustagen has now brought out a Kids Sustagen Drink

    About time! I am so glad Sustagen has brought out a line of protein drink especially for kids. I have long trusted adult sustagen for adults and patients not eating adequately, but would never give the adult version to a child. I have a very fussy little eater, but i am so relieved when he has his drink of sustain (which he thinks is simply a milkshake or treat) i dont feel like such a bad parent becaues he’s getting the vitamins, minerals, protein, energy and iron he needs.

    I bought this for my eldest daughter as she’s a fussy eater and I was always worried she wasn’t getting all the nutrients she needed from what I was feeding her. Giving her a bit of kids Sustagen as a “treat” worked wonders in getting her to have that little bit extra that I thought she might need.
