One of Australia’s biggest stars, Ruby Rose, recently underwent surgery after a stunt went horribly wrong, and she has uploaded the video of her surgery to her Instagram account for all to see.

The Orange Is the New Black star was on set filming for her latest TV show, Batwoman, when she sustained an injury that herniated two discs in her back, leaving her in ‘chronic pain’ and numb down her arms. The injury had put her at risk of being paralysed and required surgery.

The video posted by Rose comes with a warning for viewers on Instagram – “This video contains sensitive content which some people may find offensive or disturbing.”

Here is the video:

The star captioned the video:

“Well that was fun

To everyone asking about my new Pez dispenser scar on my neck… A couple of months ago I was told I needed an emergency surgery or I was risking becoming paralyzed… I had herniated two discs doing stunts, and they were close to severing my spinal chord. I was in chronic pain and yet couldn’t feel my arms… Thank you Dr Bray for everything you did and for allowing me to keep working and doing what I love. I am forever in your debt. And to anyone asking why I let them video it.. Did you not watch that Greys anatomy episode where they left a towel in a patient?? Also I wanted to see what happens when we go under.”

We wish her a speedy recovery!
