Ruby Rose Undergoes Emergency Surgery, Posts Surgery Video Online

One of Australia’s biggest stars, Ruby Rose, recently underwent surgery after a stunt went horribly wrong, and she has uploaded the video of her surgery to her Instagram account for all to see.

The Orange Is the New Black star was on set filming for her latest TV show, Batwoman, when she sustained an injury that herniated two discs in her back, leaving her in ‘chronic pain’ and numb down her arms. The injury had put her at risk of being paralysed and required surgery.

The video posted by Rose comes with a warning for viewers on Instagram – “This video contains sensitive content which some people may find offensive or disturbing.”

I couldn’t watch the video… too much for me. But wow, the pitfalls of doing your own stunts and the price you pay to be in a big movie. Hope she has recovered well.

Thanks for the video – never knew you could ask for this – wonder if my doctor would be so obliging seeing I am not a star!!!

Absolutely incredible and still wows me at how far modern medicine has come. The fact she was even able to walk right afterward is incredible
