Hello!

We’re only a couple of months into the new year and there are already some gorgeous frontrunners for the best baby names for 2023.

If you’re lucky enough to be welcoming your own bundle of joy in 2023, these are the names that you should be considering, according to the baby naming experts at Nameberry. They’ve trawled through the data and analysed trends to come up with a list of 50 baby names that you should be considering for your 2023 baby.

The names are inspired by celebrity baby names, movies and tv shoes as well as nature and gender neutral favourites.

They’ve even attracted the attention of popular baby name consultant Stephanie Coffield, who says you ‘need’ to put these names on your list! She says this year’s baby names have been trending towards the more whimsical, as well as names from mythology.

“Greek mythology inspired names are so popular right now, this is 100 per cent going to trend,” she said in her TikTok video.

However Steph wasn’t taken with all of the names on the list, saying she doesn’t believe Azael, Cielo, Harold and Rocky won’t skyrocket into popularity.

Take a look at the list, and let us know what you think in the comments below.
