Mum shares an interesting book all families need to read.

Michelle Hiscock shared some images on Facebook of Nicholas Allan’s children’s book, Where Willy Went with the caption, “Well that was interesting! I’m literally howling.”

The post has since gone viral with over 13,000 reactions (and counting!) and 113,000 shares.

“Willy is a little sperm who lives inside Mr Browne. The trouble is, Willy is one of 300 million sperm and they all want the same prize – an egg. It’s lucky Willy is such a good swimmer … ”

Most of the comments were from people suggesting they would consider buying this book as their kid’s next bedtime story.

“Bruhhhhh. I’m giving all y’all this book for y’all baby showers when they happen. . I’m crying!!!!” wrote one person.

Another vowed (or threatened?) to buy it for their friend’s son for Christmas “so he knows where his new sibling is from.”

  • Sounds like it is proving to be very popular.

  • Sounds good ! I wouldn’t buy it for my friends son for Christmas though, as I don’t think we should sit in the chair of other parents.

  • There was some DVDs made that the schools are using for sex education.
I know back in the 1990s some schools had a book in their libraries.

  • This is very funny, though you’d probably have to be careful who you gave it to.

  • This is hilarious

  • I wouldn’t buy it but it is a funny book.

  • Kids need to learn these things, I think a book like this is a great tool.

  • Not heard of this book, sounds very funny and different.

  • I love this book. Even if you don’t want to read it to your young ones, it gives you a simple way of telling them about the birds and the bees.

  • oh wow! This is an interesting book.

  • How funny! I think I might look this one up!

  • A great learning tool and for kids to understand in a simple way how babies are made. Removes the stigma.

  • People need to stop being childish about these things.

  • I bought this book for my kids and my godkids years ago! A great matter of fact introduction

  • A great way to introduce the topic to your kids at a young age. The story would have all the facts ????
