Comedian Amity Dry performed her Mum version of Celine Dion’s “All by Myself” recently in a cabaret show in Adelaide and it’s amazing.

Listen carefully and find yourself like me, nodding along in agreement; it’s my new favourite song.

Sometimes all you want as a Mum is to be “all by yourself”.

I agree wholeheartedly. She was so funny and what a fantastic voice as well. Definitely gave me a good laugh and kept a smile on my face for most of the day.

I would have loved to be on my own occasionally, to relieve some of the sleep deprivation so I can be a better Mum when I’ve recharged the batteries.
I have a baby girl who as a newborn who had severe reflux. We were lucky if she left 2 – 3 hours without waking up. A… couple of months… of that can leave you with a very foggy brain and physically fatigued.

These parodies are always a bit of good fun – well done! However, ‘I don’t want to be by myself’ – so much love for being a mum.
