It’s heartbreaking how things don’t change, Gaza has been on fire for more than a year now. I’ll never forget holding my newborn, navigating nights being a new mum with my beautiful baby while looking at my twitter feed and seeing utter devastation. Babies as small, innocent and beautiful as mine no longer living. Family holding them tenderly. The thought that on the other side of the world a mum like me could have everything ripped from her. It was hard to see, but we need to know what’s going on around us. From the river to the sea. May these innocent beings rest well.

War is such a terrible thing, but I thought the world had stopped using chemical weapons indiscriminately after WWI

Seeing thus still breaks my heart. So much pain and suffering in the world, especially on little children

and we cant open our borders to people who live this daily? we are a disgraceful nation.

Just imagine losing your twin, wife, two brothers, nephews and many other family members !!
This is horrific, too much to bare I would think !
My thoughts and prayers go out to all living in this area where violence, fear, destruction and death, pain and grieve are daily reality. Bless them !

This is why some are fleeing from their home countries to other countries hoping to be accepted as refugees. Often they don’t have a chance to grab their legal documents to prove who they are and the legitimate disaster they have escaped from.
