Children may not always know how to describe the symptoms they are feeling when suffering an allergic reaction. This info could save their life!

Here are some phrases to be aware of when a child might be suffering an allergic reaction.

– This food is too spicy
– My tongue feels hot
– It feels like I have something in my tongue/throat
– My mouth is itchy
– My mouth feels funny
– My lips feel funny

Some other great info to keep in mind –

Signs to watch out for in children’s anaphylaxis!

– sudden itchy/odd behaviour
– puffy/flushed face
– itchy nose and nose
– nausea and tummy pains
– Tight throat
– coughing

Knowledge is key! Know what to look out for and be prepared in case of an allergic reaction.
