This random act of kindness will make your heart melt!

This poor mum was having such a bad day – make that a bad week – and the kindness of one stranger touched her heart so much that she was compelled to share it on Facebook.

There isn’t much worse than having a sick little baby, especially one that requires hospitalisation, so when this mum and her bub were discharged from hospital, arriving to her car to see a parking ticket wasn’t what she needed to see.

Luckily a wonderful stranger turned her day right around by leaving the following note:

Parking ticket

The mum posted a picture of the ticket to Facebook with the following message:

Over the past few days I have been in hospital with my 9 week old son. We were discharged today and as I walked to my car I noticed that I had a parking ticket. After those days in hospital, a parking ticket was one more thing that I didn’t need.
Well to my surprise, when I opened the envelope there was a note from a lovely lady named Laura (attached).
I hope that Laura sees this and knows how much I appreciate her support.

This is so wonderful. A random act of kindness, that makes your day, spreads so wide. It has such a ripple effect – you spread this happiness to other people, who in turn spread it to others, and so on. Pay it forward if you can – even buying a coffee for a random stranger has immeasurable benefits for a wider group of people. Spread kindness and gratitude today – we will all be better off for it. xo
