Police continue to investigate the death of a baby boy who was found in a hot car.
Family members were left panicked when they couldn’t find the toddler on Sunday afternoon.
He was found about 3.30pm in a car outside the home in Chester Hill after he was noticed missing from inside the house.
NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived at the scene but the young child could not be revived.
A crime scene has been established and police are continuing inquiries.
Shortly after being found in the car, the boy’s mum arrived at the home and ran down the street in distress yelling, “my baby”.
It is understood the mum left the boy under the care of family members, 7 News reports.
It is also believed he was a twin.
Our thoughts are with the family.
