No but my niece did. And my sister who is coincidentally a hairdresser was not happy Jan!

Oh my! My son never cut his own hair but I know of others that did. Whilst they look funny, I tend to think of what could have happened with a young child and scissors! Hair will always grow back, but there’s a lot of visual pain in between!

My eldest granddaughter did this because she was being bullied at school. She thought that by cutting her hair they would leave her alone. My heart broke when I found out her reason but I’m so glad that it was only her hair that she cut.

Thank goodness my children never did this.

So pleased we are over this stage.

Too funny. At least the only hair I cut when I was a child was my Barbie doll-although Mum was very unhappy as it was a brand new Barbie! My daughter cut some of her own piggy tail then took the scissors to her sisters as well! Thankfully, not too much damage and I was able to straighten it out.

I remember it was on a Saturday morning my partner walked into the bathroom and was complaining about how I left my hair on the floor everywhere. I jumped on my horses and said I never used this bathroom while the boys went dead silent!!! My partner then asked whose hair it was and since the boys are never quiet all fingers pointed at them… long story short I was mad but partner was so cool and dealt with it so professionally. I was amazed????

my son was born with a full head of beautiful long hair. he hasn’t tried to cut it yet but other children have. it didn’t end well

No my kids didn’t cut their hair but my daughters friend cut my sons hair. Her mums reaction was that it looked good :/ while I was really upset about it.

No hair cutting here – thankfully!

My daughter cut her hair when she was about 8 and hated it! Didn’t stop her from doing it again at around age 10 :/
