Wedding Couple Replace Flowers With 'Puppy Bouquets'

This was a wedding with a difference. The grooms literally tossed the traditional bouquets of flowers and replaced them with PUPPIES!

Kyle Morris and Brian Seals got engaged after working together at an animal shelter in Illinois, USA. Both love animals so when they were planning their wedding, they were adamant that their special day had to include animals.

“Brian and I have always been animal lovers and have three rescue dogs of our own,” Kyle told 9Honey.

“And [we] want to help as many as we can find forever homes.”

“I knew from the very beginning that I want to include adoptable dogs in our wedding somehow,” Kyle says.

Puppy Bouquets

So they opted to replace the flower bouquets with puppies from the shelter, Partners 4 Pets.

Their 10 “groomsmaids” then carried these gorgeous puppies down the aisle and posed with them for the wedding pics.

“It wasn’t until going through our wedding budget that I came up with the idea to ditch the flowers and have the girls carry the puppies instead,” the groom said.

They Didn’t Want To Let Them Go

“Our bridesmaids were all smiles when we told them they were going to be holding puppies instead of the traditional bouquets. They didn’t want to let go of them that day.”

“We thought it would be an amazing way to get the dogs out of the cage for the day and a way for people to see the dogs and get some attention to Partners 4 Pets,” Brian told The Wichita Eagle.

And this wedding day had the most magical wedding – most of the puppies in their retinue have been adopted.

“To know they are finding forever homes and got to be out of the shelter for the day to be loved on made our day even more special,” Kyle says.

I was thinking the same thing before I read any of the comments. It would be awfully risky if they weren’t already toilet trained. I wonder if any of them had the same Mum as some of them look almost identical. I suppose in some ways would also be a risk carrying small babies.
