Two of Australia’s most famous stars are at a communication standstill after a disagreement over the production of a new biopic.

The biopic is centered on veteran star Olivia Newton-John’s life, with Delta Goodrem to play the role of Olivia in the biopic.

According to the magazine, New Idea, Olivia is not at all happy about the biopic production of her life story and is doing ‘everything in her power’ to ensure the project is shut down.

On Monday, the magazine reported that Olivia had issued the production company with a cease and desist order in a bid to legally stop the making of the film.

An insider told the magazine that, “Olivia’s very upset and is not taking Delta’s calls.  She expects Delta to publicly disassociate herself from the movie before she’ll talk to her again.”

Although she has not commented publicly recently, Delta has always maintained a love of Olivia and said she regards her as one of her idols.

“Olivia’s been an incredible guiding light with me,’ she told Reuters in 2008.  She’s always given me really great advice… She’s beautiful and we have a beautiful friendship.”

We hope that Olivia and Delta can move past this disagreement and retain their friendship.
