I’m sorry this is your child,you do not go out to party you have a responsibility to your child!

The child would have woken up beofre his Mum bothered to go back home.
The neighbours probably heard him crying and decided to investigate. If hwe wasn’t in a cot that he couldn’t climb out of he may have been banging on a door as well as crying. Depending how tall he is and how close to the age of 3 he is, he may even have managed to open an exterior door. The door handles of the newer houses are definitely lower than the older ones. Our youngest one open ours at 3.y.o. including a stiff new latch on a security door. He was able to push the latch up and reach the door handle standing on tippy toes. She may not only have been drinking etiher.
No Mum should be allowed parental custody when there is such neglectful abuse. What would have happened if the Mum didn’t go home at all for some reason. I hope they find a happy loving family for him. Devoted relatives may be a satisfactory option. I wouldn’t even give her visitation rights – not for quite awhile anyway. The child may freak out completely if he ever sees him Mum again. Traumatic nightmares a distinct possibility for that child.

I will never understand why people do this, I hope the little one gets to go to a loving home not back to the mother who more then likely do it again, why was drinking more important then her son why? Nothing is more important then your children.

Very scary, I wonder if she’d done it before. Also, how did the police find out? Lucky they did; I’m sure she’s learned a valuable lesson.

What a stupid idiotic irresponsible childish girl, yes i call her a girl because obviously she has not matured into a woman to do such a stupid selfish thing. These young ones who put partying before their children need to be taught a lesson.

What a terrible thing to do to a child the poor little boy you have to ask yourself is this the first time this has happened or has she done ithe before and not got caught.????

some people are obviously not fit to be parents! – there are people who babysit why not try hiring one – the end result might be it’s a little expensive, but not as embarrassing as having to go to court because you neglected your child for 7 hours!

Sadly a lot of irresponsible parents do this.
Some people in the complex where i live left their 4 yr old in charge of the 6 month old baby. To them it is normal. Not to sure what their idea of normal is.
It is happening in so many homes.
Sadly the support of family and other freinds just often isnt there any more.
Some just feel they have no option.
Yes it is sad but unless we step up as a community what else can be done.
It is not until a tragedy happens or someone realsies what is happening they are found out.

Some of these young girls that do this have been raised by parents that left them home at a early age so see it as normal. The sad cycle continues

Some people don’t deserve to be parents. I don’t know what would possess a mother to leave a child alone for any amount of time. Anything at all could happen. I don’t even like to leave my son alone in another room when we are home together, there are just so many things that can go wrong and it only takes a split second…

What is wrong with some people! If u wanted to keep ur party life then maybe you should had thought of that before opening ur legs!! Or at least sneaked help after bub was born, come on! Have a brain n a heart! Think of your baby n urself! Instead of doing something like this, seek help first! Poor little man poor girl in a way too as she was only a child at the time but like I said think before opening your legs! Or saying yes to sex! Hope little man is ok.

Obviously she had done it before. Shame.

You’d have to wonder how many times she done it / or similar before.
