A woman is advertising positive pregnancy tests on social media.

Her post is targeting women who ‘need money for an abortion’ or want to prank their partners.

The test has been advertised in various online groups – priced at $50 and with the promise of being shipped across Australia, reports Daily Mail.

‘Ladies , is your man getting on your nerves? Not treating you right? Do you need money for an ”abortion”.

‘Or do you just want to give him a lighthearted prank? Then sis, you need a positive pregnancy test.

‘For just $50 I can send you one discretely to help you out.’

It is unknown if it is just a troll pulling a prank or genuine.  But she would not be the first person to try and profit money this way.

Some people were disgusted at the suggestion:

‘It’s so pathetic that they do this,’ said one woman.

‘So this is a lesson for all you guys out there, if ur missus tells you she’s preggers n ur a bit sus, go buy the pregnancy test yourself and make her pee on the stick (sic),’ said another.

‘This bulls**t’s been getting around for years,’ said another.

  • How can some people be so deceitful? I suppose some people will try to do anything for quick money. I think I heard or read something similar a couple of years ago. In that particular case I think the fraudster was traced and charged with fraud.

  • No way can this really be happening, it has to be a joke. This is not something to joke about, it is a serious matter as it is dealing with people’s lives. Hopefully this turns out to be a prank.

  • Wrong, wrong, wrong and sick! Ridiculing a life to be, or not as the case may be, is the lowest form of a get rich quick scheme …. so many couples facing heartache at not being able to conceive …. this is not a way of seeking revenge, pulling a prank or anything – this is just a diabolic misuse of civil liberties!

  • This is so wrong. It makes me feel ill to think that some people would buy these to ‘fool’ their partners or get back at an ex. These people are sick- that’s nkt normal behavior to me.

  • The only thing sicker than the person offering these pregnancy tests is the person/people who buy them.

  • I don’t find it funny either. And the worse is thinking that there is surely someone out there ready to buy it and “blackmail” her partner!!!

  • April fools day was right around the corner when people started finding out we were pregnant and I was shocked how many people asked me for pee so the could fake a positive result.
    A) Gross!
    B) A grown woman should know better.
    C) Its not funny. Not funny for the person you’re pranking, and not funny for all the people who die inside just a bit every time they see another pregnancy announcement.
Needless to say nobody got nuthin outta me.
