A woman has caused outrage after she posted a long rant claiming mums who shop at Kmart “disgust” her and should not have children.

The women posted to the Facebook group ‘Aussie Banter’ calling out mums who buy their children cheap shoes at big chain stores.

“I see this every day! Pathetic mummies sending their feral brats to school with no name Kmart shoes with no considerations for your child’s feet,” she wrote.

“It’s putrid and irresponsible if you can’t afford propper (sic) fitted shoes you should be forced to do parenting and money management courses, instead of blowing all your money on crap from afterpay.”

The post was shared to Reddit by user ijak6 and people were quick to call the woman out for her rant.

“Just a snobby moron. Forget the fact that kids grow out of shoes after six months, odds are the name brand shoes and the Kmart shoes are produced in the same factory,” one person said.

Another said: “Nothing like a non parent telling other parents how to raise their kids.”

Others suggested that the whole post had to be joke and we can only hope that they are right.

I agree, just another troll trying to cause a stir. But it saddens us to think there really are people in the world that genuinely think like this.

  • Ah….she is a future Mum… So she has zero hands on experience and wouldnt it be wonderful if we could interview her and see how she is going in 10 years time after she has had a couple of kids and perhaps her husband has decided he is unhappy with her spending his wages on her fancy shoe collection so he up and leaves her for a woman that buys her shoes at kmart.

  • Horrible post from a deeply unhappy woman. Shaming Mum’s is just a cry for help. Someone give her a psychology referral

  • What an ignorant twit, hopefully one day she will deal with her unhappiness and anger management issues.

  • She obviously doesn’t have any kids she shouldn’t have over reacted it’s not necessary

  • That’s disgusting. I’m hoping maybe she was just posting to stir people up, because it’s really not a healthy attitude to have

  • Obviously This lady does not have children and what gives her the right to say anything like that.

  • Wow… someone’s a little bitter? Feet issues much? I wonder if she becomes a mum, if she’d like to retract this post? Most parents want the best of everything for their child and give the best they can afford. I have never used afterpay and never done a parenting course- strange assumptions in her post.

  • Got to come from a non parent or an exceptionally well off ‘toff’.

  • How pathetic is she. Maybe she should find out the facts. The shoes may have been bought for after school as we know they won’t last long. Children grow out of their shoes in no time at all and not all parents have enough money to buy expensive shoes no matter how much they go without or budget for. And why is this woman shopping at Kmart in the first place if she has so much money herself.

  • This is laughable. Only when you have children do you realise how quickly they grow out of them. It’s quite shocking really. And that’s if you can get shoes on them!!! What an obnoxious woman who can’t spell by the way!!!

  • UNBEATHABLE?Why are you hanging around schools when you have no children? Is it to get a better education for yourself or should the authorities be watching you very carefully?Cheer’s Krusty.

  • That’s horrible and so untrue! I like to get branded stuff for my kids and don’t particularly like Kmart but would never call other mums out. I can’t afford to buy the brands I like new so often purchase second hand and when I can’t get that, I sometimes do buy shoes from Kmart – the shoe quality really isn’t that much different to other shoes I’ve purchased when they are being worn every day to school. Yeah my daughter’s shoes have scuff marks on them, but I’ve had branded shoes do the same and if you saw how my daughter takes them on and off without undoing the buckle, you wouldn’t want to spend much on shoes either!

  • Are they the same quality shoes? I was always not quite sure.

  • It’s just clickbait. They want to stir up a thread on social media. Best thing to do is scroll on by and ignore the silly trolls.

  • just ignore people like this as who are they to judge?

  • Who calls their kids feral brats? I certainly don’t. I have 5 boys and they all go through about 3 pairs each in a school year. I do all my school shoes buying in the warehouse shops, I wonder what name she’ll give me towards my boys!
She needs to stop dishing out advice to those that aren’t her own and move on!

    • She’s calling all of our kid’s Feral Brats,Please read these articles properly before making comment,Cheer’s Krusty.
