  • We love all animals but my favourite is a seal. This little seal pup looks like a Zoe and we hope that will be her new name – Zoe Zoo Pup!

  • Mine has to be a monkey. They are so clever, cheeky and cunning. They continue to live as a family unit or community. They have some at the Monarto Zoo near Murray Bridge in the Murraylands region of SA. They are in large enclosures for their own safety, part of it has a roof and is locked at night, partly entirely open space. The keepers hide food out in their open space for them to find. You can tell some of them definitely have their favourite food the way they search and leave some initially. It is an open range zoo, divided into huge sections by secure fencing. They have retained a large acreage solely for consevation management. They mainly have African animals there. Some are almost extinct in their own countries. The zoo, in conjunction with others has breeding programs to help increase numbers. They try not to let them interbreed too much.
