Ok so slime is still all the rage in my house anyway with my eldest daughter. She is always coming up with the best slime recipes but I challenged her the other day to come up with how to make slime without glue or borax and she came up with a great idea that I thought I would share with you all.

  • 1 Bottle of handwash (foaming ones are better)
  • 1 Packet of Bluetac
  • 1 Bowl

  1. It’s pretty straight forward - Knead together blue tac and handwash
adding 1/2-1 squirt at a time
  2. knead together until desired texture is achieved (this can take some time)
  3. add small amounts of soap at a time to make it smoother

Fun little activity to do on the holidays with your little ones. Also if you have your own home day care this is a great method for making slime.

  • Oh my!!!!! This is brilliant.

  • Your daughter is going to grow up to be an expert at inventions. Well done

  • We tried making it many ways. But always ended up with big mess.

  • How clever! I love that you challenged her and she came up with a fantastic option.

  • That new….how do you store it/ where and for how long?

  • I’ve never seen it with blue tac, will have to give it a go!

  • So easy to make. Just wonder if it sticks to the carpet the wat normal sline does?.

  • Sounds simple – thank heavens my children are beyond this these days.

  • Sounds simple enough.

  • Blue tag and hand wash are not chemical free in my humble opinion ! I wouldn’t like my kids to eat this ;)

  • A easy idea but no not my idea of fun!

  • Great to be able to have a non toxic alter6

  • It is still toxic, what do you think blu tak is made from? and anything that foams also has toxic chemicals, this is really a false headline. Only safe play dough is the one you make with flour and water!

  • haven’t heard of this way before, thanks for the share

  • Well…this a unique way of making slime!
