Something fun for kids during school holidays.

Material

  • Toilet rolls
  • Googly eyes
  • Paddle pop sticks
  • Pom poms
  • PVA glue

Method

  1. Paint your toilet rolls completely in a colour your child chooses. You can be creative and make them multi coloured if you like then allow to dry.
  2. Once dry, stick on your googly eyes with PVA glue, holding them in place for a few seconds so that they don't slide off. In this case, I have a one year old (almost two) so she's a bit more creative with how many eyes a bunny has!
  3. Stick on your pom poms for the nose and tail.
  4. Stick your paddle pop sticks on the inside (or outside) of your toilet roll for ears.
My toddler again went through her creative streak and stuck them wherever so they kind of look like monster bunnies so you can let your kids go wild and decorate the toilet rolls in whatever way they like.

Notes

You can also use a hot glue gun if you think it'll be quicker than the PVA glue.
