Blogger, Constance Hall, has made a surprise announcement which has the internet trolls showing their true colours.

Constance has announced that her and partner, Denim, are expecting a baby together, despite taking steps to ensure they were being safe. The new bub will make it child number seven between the couple.

Con shared, “The commune is welcoming another baby.
We have no idea how it slipped through.
We tried everything, on and off bouts of the pill (until it flared my colitis too much)
Withdrawal, Morning after pills
We actually have no idea how this baby slipped through.
But it did.
I think I’m about 8 weeks, haven’t been to a doctor or anything yet.
We are not ready for this and I am petrified, babies terrify me.
But are we happy? Pigs in shit.
Well…. I’m hormonal, I considered having an abortion this morning because Densy slept in.
However I love this mother fucker, with every inch of my bloated body, we are our kids biggest fans and we don’t see the harm in putting a new little soul right in the middle of it all.
Expect complaining.. a lot of complaining.
Baby number 7 is due sometime around June.. “

Lots of people have decided to show their true colours and air their disgust at Con.

Many were outraged that she could jest about an abortion just because Denim slept in, while others are angered that she can seriously expect people to believe that she doesn’t know how it happened.

Con shared some of the nasty comments received, “This is just a small snippet of what I have to live with in the public eye, taken from a “reputable” news page Perth Now.”

Constance clarified her comment about having an abortion saying in the comments on her announcement, “A lot of people are angry that I joked about abortion. Actually, I was dead set serious, I did consider an abortion this morning- I even called my sister and told her I was considering one. Yes I was hormonal and upset. And I use humour to lighten situations. I am pro choice, I always have been and I believe in normalising abortions, they shouldn’t be a dirty secret that we don’t discuss in public forums.

That said, I consider abortions and miscarriages/fertility issues two very separate topics. And I would never joke about the latter.

So I am sorry for offending those that were offended. It wasn’t intended to offend.”

I’m sorry, I don’t care how much you dislike someone, you can always just keep scrolling without leaving nasty comments.

Don’t you agree? We need to set better examples for our children in this nasty cyber world.

If we don’t stop the trolls we are going to see more and more heartbreaking stories like this family who shared how their young daughter had contemplated suicide after she had been bullied online.  Read that story HERE.

Again, I repeat, we are all responsible for this. It is time to stand up and STOP the trolls and bullying!

  • Good on her! I think she is amazing. And I definitely agree with her on the topic of abortion. It is not anyone else’s business but the couple involved.

  • Why do people always have to make derogatory remarks about someone. As long as this baby is shown the love her other children get, who cares. It is just her way of getting her feelings out. If you don’t like what she says, ignore it and move on.

  • I’ll admit I’m not a fan or follow Constance but the negative comments she has received from her post is disgusting. Why do people feel they have to respond so negatively when they don’t agree with someone’s post. If you don’t agree & can’t be civil, don’t comment. I wish her the best of luck with her new child on the way

  • Really? Seriously? If you like and follow Constance, be happy for her news. If not, who cares? How will this affect your life. Leave her alone.

  • Oh for goodness sake, there are more pressing issues we need to worry about in the world than a family who are expecting another child. Good on her for sharing everything, warts and all.

  • Oh dear, this is rather concerning.

  • If you have nothing nice to say SHUT UP!

  • It amuses me how invested people are in this woman and her life. If they don’t like her then do not read about her or comment on her activities. Never understand why people get so upset. Apart from article on this site – I do not read about her or follow her. Her life and her choices which includes her comments and her humour.

  • I don’t understand why people waste their energy reading and responding (negatively) on blogs.

  • Always knew there was very good reasons not to be on social media – just proved it by this post.

  • Yup, no excuse for being mean. Goes completely against what con stands for !

  • I’m not a fan of her or a lot of what she posts but I certainly don’t think she deserves some of the foul comments etc she receives.

  • There was wrong on both sides of the argument. I’m not a fan of Hall and found her comments strange and somewhat callous, but equally the people who wrote disgusting things in return were in the wrong. I don’t think the people who contacted associates of those who made the comments were any better than the people who made the terrible comments. Sometimes there are trolls and other times things are said in the heat of the moment because a person finds a topic very emotive and too close to home and become hurt. I guess both sides were guilty of putting things out there that have the potential to hurt or offend others.

  • I generally just ignore things or people I dislike, and don’t post rude comments. But I do feel that Hall is an attention seeker who (sometimes) deliberately tries to stir people up, and not in a good way.

  • Have no idea who she is, can’t say I like what she wrote though about not know how it happened and joking about an abortion BUT that does not excuse bad comments people left on her blog. Just not necessary.
