Viral video of five-year-old performing burnouts, now finds dad speaking with Child Protection Officers and getting his car towed.

Alex Dobson posted a video online of his son Riley, 5, burning rubber in his driveway at their home in Queensland, reports Daily Mail.

It soon went viral receiving more than 48,000 shares and over 9,000 comments, and four million views.

The video also caught the attention of the Queensland Police and Child protection officers who arrived to tow-away Mr Dobson’s car and speak with the family.

Mr Dobson told Nine News he is starting to regret his decision to post the video online.

‘I am beginning to, only because how far it’s gone and the consequences,’ he said.

The video that caught the attention of authorities shows Riley putting down the throttle with the brakes locked, sending the back wheels of his father’s sports car spinning.

Filming it all, dad can be heard saying, ‘Look, there’s no in the car with you,’ he says. ‘High five!’

He wrote: ‘When your five-year-old says… Dad, can I do a burnout? Sure son, no worries.

‘Remember a car addiction stops a drug addiction. Private driveway.’

On Saturday Mr Dobson said: ‘I made it safe enough for my son to do, I don’t want to injure him, he is the love of my life’.

When asked if he had put his son at risk Mr Dobson was adamant he had done nothing wrong.

‘Definitely not, no way I would never put my child’s life at risk,’ he said.
