What are the thought processes behind this choice?

I suppose this is a form of child protection – you just have to be careful not to go overboard.

It’s good that atleast some names are banned .

They should get reported for that! Why or how could anyone do that to their child?

I was going to say ‘are you serious?! Have some people got nothing better to do?!’ Then I read the article. Why in gods name would you want to call your child Jihad?!?! They deserve to be reported

I don’t know why any parents would even want to name their child some of these names…crazy!

I’m glad the parents weren’t allowed to give that name to their child.

I question the intentions of parents who give their children wacky or inappropriate names.
