Kourtney Kardashian is taking a leaf out of her younger sister’s book.

After Kim attempted to break the internet with her nude photo shoot for Paper Magazine, big sister Kourtney, who is 8-months pregnant with her third child, has stripped off for DuJour Magazine.

The reality star, who is mum to Mason, 4, and 2-year-old Penelope, told the magazine “To me, nudity is not something to be ashamed of. I’m not embarrassed of my body.”

The 35-year-old revealed that she had previously posed nude when she was pregnant with her son, with the shoot being “really last minute just for myself, and I love it.”

While her sister was attempting to gain publicity, Kourtney did her shoot to commemorate her pregnancy, saying “I’m at my best when I’m pregnant. It’s such an amazing feeling, the transformation that your body goes through. There’s something about that that’s so empowering and beautiful and I just really embrace it.”

What appeals to me is celebrating the shape of my body being pregnant and capturing that time in my life.

While the mum-of-two was entirely comfortable during the photoshoot, her partner Scott had trouble getting his head around the situation, with Kourtney revealing “And Scott, who stopped by with Kim said the same thing to me, like ‘How are you fine just standing there like naked with all these people around?!'”

Were you as comfortable in your pregnant body as Kourtney is in hers? Tell us in the comments below.

  • i think pregnancy photos are beautiful and a great way to commemorate pregnancy but i do think maybe she was cashing in on kims media attention.

  • never really liked either of them to be honest, if they were really proud of their baby bodies they wouldn’t need the use of photoshop.

    • that is a good point and can i just add that they wouldn’t need botox or cosmetic surgery and procedures like lipo or fat rolling. do we go so far as too say make-up too lol. they don’t post enough make-up free selfies and when they do there is still a made-up look to them lol.

  • Women commemorate pregnancy in different ways; photos of pregnancy capture an important time in a woman’s life.

  • My first pregnancy I was extremely fit and toned so I was comfortable with my body. However, still not comfortable enough to power for a photo shoot.

  • good on her being completely comfortable with her body, it is so refreshing to see, now maybe her sister could take a note out of Kourtney’s life book and realise that less is more :)

  • No, I wasn’t comfortable at all. I was extremely sick for the entire 9 months and the only pregnancy photo I have of me is when I was leaving the house to be induced. It’s my one regret, but who would be interested in ‘sick’ photos?

  • I love being naked walking around my house but husband is like some could. Look through windows my kids used to see me walk around after shower looking for clothes natural in my house kids do it too.

  • NO, not at all comfortable, I had twins, 6lb 3oz and 6lb 15oz, I had stretch marks over my entire stomach, 1 inch wide, I still have them 25 years later, so no I was not comfortable physically or mentally, I could not believe the pain that the stretch marks actually made when the little fellows decided to move around and stretch my skin a little further. But if anyone feels comfortable then go for it, but not for me.
