Sadly this video has been removed. Kids are great at climbing and will manage to do what they want no matter what safety procedures are in place. The best thing you can do is to try and watch their every move which sadly is impossible.

You think you’re doing the right thing and alone comes a young child genius who can work out any solution. It’s so frightening to think what could have happened if Mum hadn’t been around.

Very scary- a warning to parents not to let their children play alone on the backyard if they have a pool.

At 3 I would squeeze through those pool fence gates.

Kids are much stronger and much more resourceful than we give them credit for!

I would never think of a toddler doing this. It just proves how strong he is too. If he can manage to put the ladder against the pool fence it means he may be able to reach the locking mechanism on the top of the gate too.
