Hello!

Police are searching a home in Logan, south of Brisbane, as part of their murder investigation into the death of schoolgirl Tiahleigh Palmer.

ABC NEWS REPORTS Queensland Police today said officers were at a Logan address “in relation to an ongoing investigation”.

Police have confirmed the search on Logan Reserve Road in Waterford is part of the ongoing investigation into the 12-year-old’s death.

Police arrived at the home on Tuesday and have ramped up their search on Wednesday with forensic officers paying particular attention to the property’s backyard.

Nicole Clarke lives next door to the Waterford West house, which is one kilometre from Tiahleigh’s school.

Ms Clarke said she was friends with Tiahleigh’s mother Cindy when they were children.

She said police told her they were just following leads.

“I’m just sick to the stomach,” she said.

Despite a major police investigation, and hundreds of calls to Crime Stoppers, no-one has been charged over the schoolgirl’s death.

Police have also been scouring dashcam footage recorded in the seven days prior to Tiahleigh’s body being found from around the bridge that crosses the Pimpama River.

Cindy Palmer, the mother of murdered schoolgirl last week made a desperate public appeal for information about her daughter’s death and expressed concerns about her killer still being on the loose.

More to come as updates are shared.
