We’ve had a few days to get over our collectable fatigue…and now we’re getting ready to get planting in the new Woolworths Discovery Garden promotion.

A few weeks ago, we broke the news that Woolworths is launching Discovery Garden – a new greeny initiative that won’t get the plastic warriors all worked up. The promotion involves giving customers a seedling kit and various seeds when they shop at the supermarket. There will also be adorable merchandise on offer, such as children’s gardening gloves and watering cans.

The campaign is due to launch this month so any day now. But in the meantime, we’ve got a preview of the cute case as well as what seedlings will be on offer.

Discovery Garden Case

The first pic of the Discovery Garden collector’s case has been shared on a collectors facebook group. It actually looks more like a gardening tray with a case with a country-garden design and a spot for each of the 24 plants on offer.

Be Quick

Just keep in mind that the Lion King Ooshie cases were sold out within the first few days so it’s probably a good idea to buy one, even if you’re in two minds whether you’re going to collect or not. If you only decide to collect halfway through the campaign, you may struggle to get a tray.

Are you going to collect? Tell us in the comments below.

  • Can’t wait, love gardening and this is going to be fun, but I did notice that some of the seeds will have to wait until the right season and you cannot transplant carrots, so hopefully they will provide this information with them. I am actually waiting until they start to go shopping.
