Couple's Intimate And 'Perfect' Gender Reveal

If you’re not into colour canons or popping gender reveal balloons in front of family and friends, this couple has created the sweetest, intimate gender reveal and it’s won millions of hearts.

Dad-to-be Sean Jenkins shared the adorable gender reveal video on TikTok, and it’s since amassed nine million views.

The simple idea involves nothing more than a cupcake, filled with either blue or pink cream. In the video both Sean and his fiancé take a bite from either side of the cupcake, and their faces light up with joy and shock as they learn they’re having a little boy.

The adorable video attracted hundreds of comments, with many proclaiming it the ‘perfect’ gender reveal.

“I love how intimate this is, instead of a huge gathering,” wrote one commenter.

Christina adding: “I’ve found it. The perfect gender reveal! Intimate, private and romantic. Congratulations!”

Sean explains he met his future wife in Costa Rica nine months ago, with the couple conceiving just three days after meeting. They became engaged two months later, and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their bundle of joy!

I prefer this type of quiet intimate gender reveal, but I do wonder if it’s just a way to get more followers etc by putting it online for the world to see.

I prefer this type of reveal than some of the other outlandish ideas so far. The money everyone wastes on throwing gender reveal parties could be put to better use for the child’s benefit. Love this idea and congratulations to them both

Sorry to sound like a pedant but if you want to keep it intimate (and fair play to you for that!) why even post it on tik tok etc? ( it says it has gathered 9 million views, that’s not intimate!!!)

Whilst I still don’t get a gender reveal this is much better and more intimate than the flashy showy gender reveals all over insta and tik tok. But why do you have to film it and share it with anyone?
