Is Woolworths Launching A MARVEL Ooshie Collectable Range Next?

We’re right in the very thick of collecting our Lion King Ooshies and rumours are already whizzing that Woolworths are already planning their next collectable campaign…..and it involves superhero Ooshies.

This has been my kids’ first encounter with the semi-squishy pencil toppers and they’re hooked. I briefly mentioned to them that the Marvel range may be the next collectables on offer, and they literally bounced off the ceiling with excitement.

One of the members of facebook group, Markdown Addicts Australia, has set the rumour mill in a tizz after sharing that she “went and got my 28 ooshies for my niece today and was talking to one of the ladies who said they are bringing out MARVEL ones next!!! Better start saving everyone!!” She does subsequently warn: “Grain of salt people!”, indicating that we probably shouldn’t get too excited yet (too late!!).

Commenters rushed in to share their eagerness saying: “Marvel ones!? Oh no I’m gonna be at the shop every single day. I will need them ALL!”.

However, Woolworths employees in the group were quick to shut down the rumours, while the original poster clarified:
“It was just the lady at the checkouts not that it means much but she just said it to me ’cause I mentioned how psycho everyone is for these. I said they Woolies won’t do it again and she said they were going to do marvel ones… all with a grain of salt until they come out lol”

Woolworths, if you’re reading this: take note – my kids are 100% keen on this idea so even if it’s not true, we hope you’ll exercise the powers that be to make it happen.
