Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil is a very gentle, soap free cleaning base that gently cleanses the skin and protects it against the drying effects of water.

Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil is to be used as a cleansing product on children suffering from very dry skin. The product helps to soothe itching sensations caused by skin dryness and provides 24h hydration*.

What’s in the soothing formula?

The XeraCalm A.D Cleansing Oil formula was created using a minimum number of ingredients.

A very gentle soap free cleansing base cleanses the skin and protects it against the drying effects of water.

The I-Modulia complex: A result of 12 years of scientific development. It reduces itching sensations and soothes redness caused by skin dryness.

Cer-Omega: Lipids which resemble those found in the skin, they help to repair, nourish and strengthen the skin’s protective film, giving the skin better resistance against external aggressions.

How do I use Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil?

Use morning or evening, in the shower, lather onto wet hands before applying to the skin. In the bath, pour the equivalent of 5 pumps into bath water while filling the tub. Rinse thoroughly and gently pat dry.

    So hydrating & nourishing!

    Such a quality product. It only took 1 week to see a big difference to my baby’s skin, everywhere! His skin is remarkably smoother to touch and he is less irradiated, especially on his legs.     Nourishing and hydrating

    I really loved using this cleansing oil on my toddler and myself. My daughter gets little bumps on her skin and it really seemed to help with that. It was also very nourishing on my very dry skin. Packaging was also good, the pump bottle made it easy to use. Would recommend!

    During flare-ups, this oil makes bub comfortable and cheerful!

    We have been using this cleansing oil for a couple of weeks and we can already see the difference in our baby’s skin. She has eczema-prone skin and I was initially wary of putting stuff on her skin for fear of making her flare-ups worse. However, whenever we use this cleansing oil, I notice how it gently cleanses my baby’s skin without further stripping its natural oils; leaves her skin soft and supple; and most importantly, makes her comfortable by reducing her skin’s itchiness and soothing its redness.

    It’s amazing how, during flare-ups, she goes from being irritable to cheerful after using this!I further read about the I-Modulia complex and saw the more than decades’ worth of hard work that went into developing it – no wonder this cleansing oil works remarkably well for sensitive skin!

    Apart from being great at dissolving impurities but still leaving the skin nourished, I like the tear-free formula which is equally important for me. Thank you so much for letting us try this wonderful cleansing oil – we simply cannot wait to try other products from the range.

    Wonderful for the whole family

    Beautiful nourishing goodness for the whole family’s skin. I’ve noticed all our skin has greater hydration and smoothness. Love that this product is both soap and fragrance free. My kids ask for it every bath; they love how it foams up. Also I’m pinching it for my shower also. Highly recommend.

    Amazing Product

    Great After Winter

    My kids skin is always so dry after winter. This product has really helped clear this up and has nourished their skin. Avène is a brand I personally use for myself and love that there is now something that will be a regular to add to my kids bath routine.

    Hydrated skin

    After a couple of washes with this cleansing oil I noticed such a great affect it had on my sons skin. My son suffers from dry skin a lot and this really helped him. I definitely recommend to all mothers with babies who suffer from dry skin. Will definitely buy again.

    Great product

    I’ve been using the Avene cleansing oil on my daughter and have noticed a reduction in her dry patches especially behind her knees and elbows. I don’t usually use a wash on her face but thought I’d give this a go. Overall her skin is softer and she doesn’t seem to be itching like she used to. I would recommend this product to others.

    Gentle on sensitive skin, nice texture

    The Avène XeraCalm Cleansing Oil felt super gentle on my little one’s skin and left it soft and supple with zero irritation on her sensitive skin. The texture of the oil is very nice and the pump is pretty handy to use.

    Amazing textured oil

    My daughter doesn’t usually like having any kind of moisturiser or oil applied to have after a bath or shower. I bought this in the hope that it would change. And it has. She loves how it glides on her skin and leaves it feeling soft and silky afterward.

    Hello Fresh Baby Skin!

    Amazing results

    The XeraCalm cleansing oil has given us great results. It’s reduced the bumps on my toddlers arms and he’s no longer as dry all over. I’ll be repurchasing this asap! I also really enjoy the smell – not chemically at all. Overall, I’m very happy.

    No more dry itchy skin

    I am very happy that finally I found the product that works on my daughter and husband. I have noticed the change after the first use. My daughter and husband has a very dry skin and even after using very good body wash and moisturiser they still get dry itchy skin but thankfully this product has done a great job. Sometimes I add the product on bath and it works perfectly fine.

    Fresh and soft

    Suitable for very dry, itchy & eczema prone skin is a real plus and suits all family members. A very gentle fragrance-free oil (although I think adding a scent would be a bonus) that helps nourish the different skin styles to prevent dryness.Leaves skin feeling fresh, soft, less irritated and no tightness felt after oil is rinsed off.

    Very impressed

    My little man has sensitive skin and everything seems to dry his skin out BUT not Avène XeraCalm! We noticed a difference after the first wash. There was no dry, flakey and most importantly itchy skin after washing with this. After a week of using it we noticed how hydrated and smooth our little man’s skin was becoming! Very happy with how this product performs will be purchasing again!

    Less irritation than normal soaps and washes

    Used this by pumping in the bath for my 2 year old. I noticed that where he usually flairs up on his inner arms, was no longer red. I feel like my sons skin was softer after using this both pumped into the bath and as a wash. Happy with this product overall and would use again.

    Avène XeraCalm Cleansing Oil is awesome. Definitely helps with itch and sensitive skin and assists with not drying out the skin. I would definitely buy it again. Very minimal smell which is also nice to not be over powering.

    Avene Xeracalm replenishing cleansing oil really is amazing and significantly reduced and soothes itching sensation and redness for my son. It feels luxurious and so very gentle on the skin. You can feel the Avene rich thermal spring water goodness. Skin is nourished strengthened and soothing. What a beautiful product, and it’s suited for the whole family. Thanks for the trial.     One of the best cleansing oil for the whole family

    The whole family love this Avene Xeracalm replenishing cleansing oil. My daughter has dry skin especially after bath. Applying this oil makes her skin super soft, hydrated and smooth.
