I keep mine near the front door, even though it has a screen on it, when opened and closed (or forgotten to close it) this nifty gadget just set and forget. It zaps the flies before they have a chance to come in. I can even leave the screen door open and it works a treat!

I'll be honest. I really wanted to be blown away by this, but I didn't really expect to. I figured I'd buy it, and be annoyed that I wasted $30. But truly, my house backs onto a mangrove swamp, (yuck!), and the mosquitoes in summer are the WORST! They attack in swarms, and will literally drive you out of a room when they gang up on you. The poor baby cops it the worst. So I decided to give it a go, and I am so glad I did! For the last month, we have had minimal mosquitoes in the house! MAYBE four or five a day, which is REALLY saying something, when you consider that it wouldn't have been unusual to have twenty or more in the space of an hour!
I genuinely cannot recommend this product enough! It even smells nice!

Unfortunately my house has limited fly screens, and in the QLD humidity I always try to have enough breeze to keep us cool. With that comes unwanted insects, flies being my major issue. After trying this product I've seen a massive decrease in the amount of flies coming inside. I'd spent a crazy amount of money on fly spray, and this works out to be much more effective.

we bought one of these because we have a midgie issue (we live near mangroves)
its kept above the back door so that if the kids leave it open we dont have to worry as much that the midgies will come in... its set at 9 minute intervals and works a treat... i havent had a midgie bite for weeks!

After reading and hearing rave reviews about Mortein Naturgaurd we decided to purchase it last week and hubby and I are very impressed .
Having young children running in and out of back yard and leaving security door open, we always used to have insects flying into the house. Since using this Naturgaurd, we no longer face this problem and I no longer need to scream to close fly/security door close.
We have had the odd fly come in but before long it either fits out or dies.

We have used previous editions of Mortein and other automatic pest control devices and this unit has by far been more user friendly. The options you can select depending on which insects you are wanting to target make it easy and more sense than 12 - 24 hour options. We have placed it in our main lounge as we often get rouge cockroaches that venture from our garage and we haven't seen one since. Thanks for a great product that actually works.

I had a serious fly issue on my back decking and everything I tried didn't work it was actually attracting them more and more. I have to say I didn't like the idea of this as it was automatically spraying Mortein around and I was concerned it would affect us, our pets as much as the flies. The dog and cat are not affected at all. Flies are gone (. see what happens in warmer weather) and it doesn't affect us.

This is such a simple idea yet works amazingly. The tropical life is great but we get waves of insects after a rain or change of weather. These did not smell bad or cause coughing like most sprays. I hate having sprays and we can not use many as my son will be sneezing all night and their not good for the fish in the tank but this works a treat and the kids have been bite free for weeks. The smell actually helps my sons sneezing lessen which is great he gets to wake with a clear head.

Unfortunately I was not chosen to review this product, but I decided to go ahead and purchase it anyway to give it a go. I found assembly of the unit very easy and it start working killing pests straight away. We mounted our unit at height on the wall and it was effective at killing flies, mosquitoes and even cockroaches although it did not seem to worry our spiders. Only issue is it was hard to notice when the aerosol needs replacing and the clip cover is a little flimsy. It also seems safe and doesn't disturb our pets and children

Have used it and I find it works, however, it is a little expensive for me - but what the heck, I'd rather be fly free than eat a box of chocolates, I must admit I did not notice any perfume emanating from the dispenser, but just as long as it keeps away the flies, who cares

Moreton nature guard for indoor use is a great guard to protect the whole family especially little ones, the eucalyptus is a really great smell to mask the normal horrible smell these insect repellents normally have. The price is pretty good but like everything at the moment it is a bit deer but I guess safer than a citronella candle .

We were very happy with the Mortein Nuturgard Auto Protect Insect controller. We have small kids and they are constantly leaving doors open. In summer we get bombarded with flies, and I hate flies. The Insect controller is great at keeping their levels under control and leaves me a little less stressed. I love the fact I don't have to be constantly spraying FLyspray around the kids.

We do not have security screens at home so we normally have the doors open and get bugs but mainly flies. I notice when we have the Naturgard on we get minimal to no flies but when we don't there are swarms of them hanging around. We don't notice it when it is on as it is so quiet

I was trying to find a product I could use indoors to help with insect protection. Unfortunately I did not like this one at all. I found the smell actually a bit too strong as we live in an apartment. I wouldn't recommend it to others at this stage but I haven't tried any others, perhaps I'll like this one more when I have a point of reference to compare it to.

After working up the courage to fork out over $30 for it, I was pleasantly surprised!
My partner has a bad habit of leaving doors open, and we would be swarmed with flies, even more so when preparing food. I hated having flies inside, Especially with a newborn Bub.

I struggle with mosquito bits and they zero in on the kids and I found that since using this indoors the bites have really decreased which is great. It doesn't completely eliminate insects but goes along way to controlling the levels and it means I am also then free to do other things and not run around with spray cans and fly squatters.

I purchased the Mortein Naturgard as we get a lot of mozzies in our house. Although it got the job done, I felt that the canister had ran out quiet quickly and that the price to replace it was very expensive compared to just sing fly spray.

The only problem I have found with this product is both my son and I have had breathing problems and asthma attack immediately after using this product. Use small amounts in a well ventilated area after use if you have asthma.

‘I Grabbed My Car Keys And RAN!’ The New Supermarket Bread Everyone’s Talking About
Mum-of-two Rebecca McCracken has spent the last four years reading ingredient lists on pretty much everything she buys at the supermarket.
Like many parents raising kids with food allergies, a quick trip to the supermarket often means checking labels, comparing products and hoping to find something the whole family can eat.
Bec’s four-year-old son and 17-month-old daughter were both born with cow’s milk protein allergy. While her son has since outgrown his allergies, her toddler still reacts to dairy, making even everyday staples like bread a challenge.
“Unless we buy expensive sourdough for seven or eight dollars, we don’t really have a choice.”
Even then, it’s not ideal.
“A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich,” Bec laughs. “And fairy bread on sourdough is not great.”
A New Loaf On The Block
Bec runs an online community for allergy families, so she spends plenty of time sharing recipes, product finds and supermarket discoveries with other parents.
It was one of those parents who first told her about new JUST bread.
“A follower messaged me and said, ‘Oh my gosh, this bread is coming soon.’ I was like, ‘Where? When? I need to know. I’m getting my car keys and running!'”

Of course, there was one person whose opinion mattered more than anyone else’s.
“My toughest critic is my daughter. She is so fussy. We know something is really good if she approves it, and she approves it. She loves it. She’ll eat it plain, toasted, as French toast … whatever. She loves it.”
Bec says she was impressed too.
“I like it. I like that it’s only got minimal ingredients and doesn’t have the additives and preservatives that are in a lot of other brands.”
A Simpler Option For Everyday Families
Bec tried out JUST bread because of her family’s allergies, but she says it has a broader appeal.
“I think everyone is becoming more conscious of additives and preservatives in their food.”
It’s a feeling many of us can probably relate to. We don’t all want to overhaul the way we eat, but plenty of us are paying a little more attention to ingredient lists and looking for products that keep things simple.
Bread is one of those foods that’s always around. It ends up in lunchboxes, on the breakfast table, alongside soup on a cold night and covered in hundreds and thousands at birthday parties. When we eat something that often, it’s only natural to wonder what’s in it.

Grabbing your car keys and running for a bread ?? I can’t imagine doing so for a bread lol ! It’s nice to see that more and more allergy friendly products are being produced and put on the market.
I don’t agree with the statement that “A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich”. It depends on what type of bread you introduce to your kids. My kids grew up with 7 seeds, rustic bread and sourdough and they love it. It’s also quite easy and cheap to make sourdough bread yourself.
I haven’t seen this bread in the supermarket but will be looking for it now. I have been trying to avoid preservatives and additives for some time now and as highlighted in the article bread it difficult to find, or super expensive, without them so I don’t have it often.
This is fantastic, finally a bread that is not full of nasty stuff. I will be going straight out to buy this. My son has ARFID and will only eat white bread, but it’s not terribly healthy. With this bread, at least I know that it is much healthier than the alternatives. Woohoo
I cant wait to give this bread a go (so far its always been sold out at my local woolies so it must be good). So good its suitable for those with allergies too. I think nowadays were all looking for cleaner options of ingredients in our foods so this is a step in the right direction.
I am glad more and more allergy friendly products are being produced and offered. I don’t agree with Bec’s statement that kids don’t like sourdough bread. My kids were introduced to sourdough and the most rustic and seeded breads from the time they started to eat bread, and they love it
Oh I cannot wait to try this bread! We go through that much bread each week and I always feel so guilty with how much my kids have – not anymore! Would love to see them introduce other variants in the future – multigrain and gluten free would be superb!
This is such a great product that I’m looking forward to trying! I’ve only been buying bread from bakeries the last few years because grocery store bread texture was so dense and unpleasant. But the hassle with bakery bread is I can’t get it everywhere! I’ll be really keen to give this a go
