Hello!

Ok, so who’s totally over the slime craze? Whenever I give in to my kids’ pleas to try a new slime sensation, I regret it instantly and spend the next few days coaxing bits of goo out of the floor, walls and every other nook and cranny that the slime infiltrates. We’ve tried flavoured slime, glitter slime, fluffy flubber, stretchy slime and extra sticky icky slime and if I have to buy one more bottle of glue, I think I’m going to scream.

It seems that I’m not the only one! The hilarious Holderness family have just released a slimy cover version of Cyndi Lauper’s hit, “Time After Time,” where mum and dad bemoan their daughter’s obsession with making slime.

Check it out below – we guarantee you’ll giggle!

But if after all that, you still can’t get rid of the slime craze, check out our awesome craft recipes:

  • Time to run out of the ingredients you use to make slime and avoid the shops where it is sold ready made. I haven’t seen kinetic sand. I think my niece has been given some.

  • Thank God we missed the slime craze. It was around when I was younger but my son seems to have passed through it!!

  • My 13year old is into slime making and of course the younger ones want to join. I’ve so come to hate it this past year. Slime on the floor, under the shoes, on the stairs, in the bedding, in the clothes, etc. A big bottle of vinegar helps for that, but still. And it’s not handy for my youngest who has Down syndrome, as she eats everything, slime, playdough, kinetic sand. So no more for me !! We banned it from our house.
