Dentist approved!
As I mentioned in my application to review the airfloss, I take oral hygiene seriously (something my parents instilled in me after their own horrible experiences of poor health) and though I felt pleased with the airfloss myself, I wasn't certain that it was doing just as good a job as manual flossing. I have always had a pretty good report card from my dentist and so I knew that if anything weren't right, he'd make no bones about it. I asked him to note carefully whether he could see a difference in the plaque between the teeth and hetold me flat out that my teeth looked as good as they always had.
This may not sound much, but tome it is very, very impressive. I have professional confirmation that the airfloss is not only saving me time and effort, but it is also doing a great job. With that final tick in every box, I went out and bought my hubby one today.

Full marks for me
I wasn't sure what to expect when my wife cracked this out for me to try, but I think it's a keeper. I guess that's lucky because my wife already bought another one for me! Cheers for the shot at trying this out. It was well worth it!

Wow!!! The AirFloss is easy to use. & amazingly effective
The only thing I would mention to a first time user is when you use it in front of the mirror the first time as you can't wait to see how it works - be prepared to clean that mirror. I will be flossing in the shower from now on, no big deal

First Week
Luckily my partner road-tested it first, so my first go was a bit tidier (Unlike her, I didn't end up with water down my face and t-shirt). I was really surprised at how well it worked. Much faster (and much more fun to use) than string floss. I did end up with red gums, and the next day they started to bleed, but I know this is normal at the start.
Despite being a little red and sore, overall I'm impressed after the first week, so I'm looking forward to seeing the results over the next month.

Week One
Enter the Philips Sonicare Air Floss.
I was so excited to find out there was a product on the market that would floss my teeth without the need for fiddly string. So when the Air Floss arrived on my doorstep, I couldn't wait to use it and review it. Fast forward 24 hours for the charge time and I was champing at the bit to get my hands on it.
After following the instructions carefully, my first impression of the Air Floss was...this thing is scary! I shot it at my hand, just to feel what the pressure would be like, and it is extremely powerful. It also let out quite a loud noise which gave me a fright. So with a little apprehension, I put it in between my teeth and gave it a try.
IT WAS AMAZING!
No pulling, no fiddling, no bits of string left all over the bathroom. The only thing I found out very quickly, is that it is imperative to close your mouth, unless you want water running down your chin and onto your clothes (although my partner found this quite hilarious).
I am so impressed with the Air Floss- I'm looking forward to seeing the results over the next few weeks. The only thing I am unsure about is whether it is best to use before or after brushing. I have been using it after, but I might mix it up a bit and see what I prefer.
