My weekly menu plan usually consists of the same recipes I cook week in, week out and is in desperate need of some new recipes. This week I checked out some vegetarian recipes.

Here are 10 recipes that are tried and tested already by real Mums for you, you can’t go wrong!

  1. Vegetarian rolls – easy to hide veggies from the kids and tasty.
  2. Zucchini and lemon spaghetti – this will be popular at my house, easy and very tasty looking.
  3. Stuffed capsicums – a yummy vegetarian dinner option.
  4. Creamy sweet potato noodles – a great way to get more veggies into the kids.
  5. Lentil bolognaise - a great alternative to beef bolognaise.
  6. Vegetable soup – perfect for the cooler months.
  7. Spinach and ricotta cannelloni – a favourite in my house.
  8. Vegetable curry – easy and tasty curry.
  9. Sweet potato nuggets – a great alternative to chicken nuggets.
  10. Lentil and coconut dahl – tasty and easy, try it out.

  • Yum, we usually have a couple of vegetarian meals a week. Meat is so expensive but I think it’s healthier to limit meat intake too

  • These are fantastic recipe. I like to stir fry cabbage , spring onion and carrot and add in some egg noodles

  • I am going to experiment with sweet potatoes which has a similar consistency to butternut or kent pumpkin

  • Mmmmm! With the colder months coming I’ll be trying these for sure. the dahl and the sweet potato noodles look particularly great.
