I admit that I am not a big breakfast eater and I want to change that. I have been searching for recipe ideas that will want to make me eat breakfast.

Here are 10 recipes that have been tried and tested by real Mums, you can’t go wrong:

  1. French toast – always a winner with me.
  2. Granola – making your own is so easy.
  3. Egg and Veggie muffins – easy and tasty.
  4. Feta, avocado egg smash - tasty combination of goodness.
  5. Homemade Hash browns – you’ll never buy hash browns again.
  6. Menemen (Turkish tomatoes and egg) – amazing flavours.
  7. Wholemeal blueberry pikelets - hide them from the kids, they’re good!
  8. Toasted muesli – nut free and sugar free goodness.
  9. Breakfast hot pot – easy and tasty.
  10. Banana chai smoothie – when you’re short on time, this is a healthy filling drink.

  • Wish I could have pancakes and waffles everyday for brekkie lol.
    I usually just eat toast, oats or cereal as it’s quick and something I can prepare easily before work.

  • I love eating muesli with Greek yogurt at breakfast time. Or sometimes just a piece of fruit.
    In special occasions I surely go for pancakes or waffles! :-)

  • Thank you. We’re always looking for different options in our house. I love a smashed avocado on sourdough bread with a poached egg on top. YUM! My son loves hash browns but I’ve never tried making them. Love this recipe, thanks.

  • I am a bacon and eggs girl but I also enjoy pancakes, spaghetti on toast and baked beans with onion & bacon on toast with cheese. I think I should try some of these recipes to expand my breakfast horizons.
