Hello!

Welcome to day 13 of 21 days of mindfulness with Leonie Percy, author of the award winning book Mother Om.

Did you enjoy having a mindful cup of tea yesterday? I love doing this practice each day because it stimulates all of our senses. Such a beautiful mindfulness practice to connect you back to yourself, even when the house is in chaos.

Today I will teach you to let go of harmful inner self-talk. The way you speak to yourself has a massive impact on how you feel and this is reflected in all of your relationships, especially the one with your kids.

Watch the video and then practice the loving kindness meditation.

Practice this meditation as often as you need. Your mind is your best friend and your worst enemy.

  • It’s not always easy to get rid of negative thoughts. In particular if it’s something that has grown through the years. I’m trying to get rid of the low self-esteem I have, and value myself a little more. Repeating those sentences helps making it feel real.Like you are indeed doing something to change and improve your life.

    • It can be a hard cycle to break, but it is possible. Start slowly and over time you will see a difference. Journalling is very helpful. Your can print out the beautifully illustrated 12 month journal I created on day one. Thanks for taking part each day xx
