Do your kids whinge about having to have a sandwich everyday at school?

Here are 10 kids lunch box ideas that you can send and keep them happy.

It is understandable that after a while kids will get tired of eating the same thing over and over again. Not only that but when we don’t have enough time and our kids are picky it gets more complicated. It’s hard to think of children’s lunch box ideas so we made a list for you to make it easier. Of course first are the pizza scrolls which are a great way to cheer them up!

Puff pizza scrolls: Make cheese and vegemite ones, ham and cheese etc etc etc, whatever the kids love best.

Vegetable quinoa bites: Get the kids eating veggies for lunch without them knowing. If you are looking for healthy kids lunch box ideas this one is amazing!

Corn and bacon fritters: Yummy lunch treat.

Zucchini slice: Very popular here, a healthy yet tasty lunch.

Ham and cheese muffins: Bite sized lunch perfect for kids. A way to switch it up from ham and cheese toasties!

Rice balls: Filling and tasty lunch.  Really popular in Japan because of their tastiness!

Rice paper rolls: Great Summer light and healthy lunch. A great addition in your kids lunch box!

Beef and vege pies: A great alternative to sandwiches and still delicious!

Pita bread pizza: Always a popular lunch snack with my kids. Who doesn’t like pizza?

Sausage rolls: Perfect bite size lunch for the kids. Great way to keep things interesting for them!

These kids’ lunch box ideas are perfect for every kid, whether they are picky or not! There are many to choose from so you can make a different one each time and make every little one look forward to their lunch!

  • Some brilliant ideas here, however do check out what your school will allow. Our school wouldn’t allow home cooked goods, but guess they might have been OK with the rice-paper rolls as they could see what was in them. Good luck mums with the lunch police at your school.

  • Mine only ask for a sandwich so don’t have to worry about cooking up anything too fancy just yet. I don’t like cold food like that I’d have to heat it up & I’m not sure if they can at school..?

  • These look and sound really great lunch box treats. I do hope the lunch police at school are not as hard-line as they used to be. Nothing home made was allowed at my granddaughter’s school. It made it so hard to deal with.

  • Whilst lots of amazing ideas, my son wouldn’t eat anything but the same sandwiches in primary school. By late secondary school we were able to get creative.
