I do believe my husband and I are very lucky to own one of these toothbrushes, they are amazing and I don't think I would ever go back to a manual toothbrush after using one of these beauties. So this is my final review of the Phillips Sonicare Flex+ and I have to say it has beena pleasure trialling this product. I will not go back to a "manual" toothbrush and have already gone and bought replacement heads for when needed. I am also very happy to report I have my toothbrush on charge - the second time since starting this review , the first time being when we received the product. That is incredible - and considering it has been used 4 times a day that is a terrific charging capability. I am in love with my Phillips Sonicare Flex+ and I and my mouth/teeth thankyou MoM for giving us the chance to be a part of this amazing trial .

I still love using the Philips Sonicare FlexCare+ tooth brush. We went away for a couple of days and took the toothbrushes with us in the carrier. The battery lasted for the 2 nights and the carrier kept our toothbrushes clean and dry. The only thing so far I would improve, and it is merely my personal preference would be to offer toothbrush heads that offer different bristles. I always prefer strong stiff bristles while my wife prefers soft bristles. I did not notice the difference as first. But since using the toothbrush continuously for a few weeks, I find myself wanting harder bristles. However, I will not be going back to my manual toothbrush as I've noticed a cleaner feeling and look to my teeth with continued use.

ok so this toothbrush is a bit pricey but oh so amazing and it becomes worth the price when you see and feel the difference that it makes of your teeth! i recommend that everyone should get an electric toothbrush when they can! it does a really great job and has a polisher thing and it really does improve the clean feeling of my teeth! i think that it does a better and superior cleaning job

I haven't liked using this electric toothbrush at all. I haven't ever used one before my Mrs. got this, and the vibration feeling in he head and ears freaks me out. I have kept trying it to keep her off my back, and yes, we are seeing a difference in the stains on my teeth.

My mouth seems to get cleaner and cleaner is that is possible!! To be honest though, I have not found all of the settings beneficial for my personal use. Have an appointment with my Dentist soon so it will be interesting to see what he thinks. My partner has had issues using an electric toothbrush, doesn't like the vibration feeling in his mouth and the noise it makes in his head. Found that interesting.

After four weeks of using the Philips Sonicare I'm hooked. There's absolutely no way I'll be returning to my old toothbrush. The only problem I foresee is if my wife ever needs to go away for a night or two and takes the brush with her - all I'll be left with is my little brush-head!
I see the UV Sanitiser as a bit of a novelty, however if there was some way to clearly prove to me the benefits of a UV 'cleaner' then I may have scored the rating higher. Apart from that, I have already been spruiking this product to friends and work colleagues and I know a long lasting relationship has now been created.

In my opinion, using an electric toothbrush takes some getting used to and on that basis I am so glad we had 4 weeks to build a relationship and to form an opinion. My vow to my Sonicare: I will never go back to the old manual way ever again.

When my wife first told me that we'd been chosen to review an electric toothbrush, I was curious. I already own an electric toothbrush which I am happy with, but agreed to give the review one a go.
After using it over the past weeks, I will admit that it does appear to do a good job of cleaning my teeth.
However it is overly complex, to the point of fault. There is no mode for just brushing your teeth - the designers have attempted to dictate the sequence that teeth should be brushed in the division of the brushing time into set periods, and I've been unable to conform to their proposed brushing sequence. Unfortunately, the way the periods are communicated (changes in the vibration pattern) mean that this is a constant irritation. I'd prefer a mode that just runs for however many minutes without any interruptions.
I doubt the purported benefits of the UV steriliser. The fact that the brush-heads are stored in a closed box will provide more net health benefit. I also disagree with the desire for total cleanliness - a bit of dirt is good for the immune system. I don't see the need for including the steriliser at all.
What has me most concerned though is the rate at which the brush head has worn. The marker bristles are nearly totally worn away, and we've only had the toothbrush a month. Genuine heads are priced at twice what I can get genuine heads for my toothbrush for, and appear to last less than a third as long. That means it will cost about six times as much to run just in replacement heads alone.

My final review! What can I say, except that I LOVE this toothbrush! I am SO happy that I was able to participate in this review, and there is NO way that I'm giving it up! It has made my mouth look and feel fantastic, and I must admit I've been enthusing about this brush to all my friends and family!

It's a competent toothbrush, but it's overly complicated, expensive to buy, expensive to run, and it seems as though the heads are wearing out much quicker than I'd anticipated. I was initially concerned that the UV Sanitiser was making the heads wear faster, but that didn't turn out to be the case. The heads simply do not have a long lifetime. Saying that, the brush does do a good job and gives a good, clean feeling.

‘I Grabbed My Car Keys And RAN!’ The New Supermarket Bread Everyone’s Talking About
Mum-of-two Rebecca McCracken has spent the last four years reading ingredient lists on pretty much everything she buys at the supermarket.
Like many parents raising kids with food allergies, a quick trip to the supermarket often means checking labels, comparing products and hoping to find something the whole family can eat.
Bec’s four-year-old son and 17-month-old daughter were both born with cow’s milk protein allergy. While her son has since outgrown his allergies, her toddler still reacts to dairy, making even everyday staples like bread a challenge.
“Unless we buy expensive sourdough for seven or eight dollars, we don’t really have a choice.”
Even then, it’s not ideal.
“A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich,” Bec laughs. “And fairy bread on sourdough is not great.”
A New Loaf On The Block
Bec runs an online community for allergy families, so she spends plenty of time sharing recipes, product finds and supermarket discoveries with other parents.
It was one of those parents who first told her about new JUST bread.
“A follower messaged me and said, ‘Oh my gosh, this bread is coming soon.’ I was like, ‘Where? When? I need to know. I’m getting my car keys and running!'”

Grabbing your car keys and running for a bread ?? I can’t imagine doing so for a bread lol ! It’s nice to see that more and more allergy friendly products are being produced and put on the market.
I don’t agree with the statement that “A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich”. It depends on what type of bread you introduce to your kids. My kids grew up with 7 seeds, rustic bread and sourdough and they love it. It’s also quite easy and cheap to make sourdough bread yourself.
I haven’t seen this bread in the supermarket but will be looking for it now. I have been trying to avoid preservatives and additives for some time now and as highlighted in the article bread it difficult to find, or super expensive, without them so I don’t have it often.
This is fantastic, finally a bread that is not full of nasty stuff. I will be going straight out to buy this. My son has ARFID and will only eat white bread, but it’s not terribly healthy. With this bread, at least I know that it is much healthier than the alternatives. Woohoo
I cant wait to give this bread a go (so far its always been sold out at my local woolies so it must be good). So good its suitable for those with allergies too. I think nowadays were all looking for cleaner options of ingredients in our foods so this is a step in the right direction.
I am glad more and more allergy friendly products are being produced and offered. I don’t agree with Bec’s statement that kids don’t like sourdough bread. My kids were introduced to sourdough and the most rustic and seeded breads from the time they started to eat bread, and they love it
Oh I cannot wait to try this bread! We go through that much bread each week and I always feel so guilty with how much my kids have – not anymore! Would love to see them introduce other variants in the future – multigrain and gluten free would be superb!
This is such a great product that I’m looking forward to trying! I’ve only been buying bread from bakeries the last few years because grocery store bread texture was so dense and unpleasant. But the hassle with bakery bread is I can’t get it everywhere! I’ll be really keen to give this a go
