I do believe my husband and I are very lucky to own one of these toothbrushes, they are amazing and I don't think I would ever go back to a manual toothbrush after using one of these beauties. If and when I am going to get my children to have electric brush's and I think they clean better and are easier to use. I think they give our teeth that extra special sparkle.

I know what to get my mother-in-law now for her birthday, I have been trialling this product for over a month and both my husband and I love it and we keep bragging about it to my parents who have now bought one and to my other family and friends. So this is my final review of the Phillips Sonicare Flex+ and I have to say it has beena pleasure trialling this product. I will not go back to a "manual" toothbrush and have already gone and bought replacement heads for when needed. I am also very happy to report I have my toothbrush on charge - the second time since starting this review , the first time being when we received the product. That is incredible - and considering it has been used 4 times a day that is a terrific charging capability. I am in love with my Phillips Sonicare Flex+ and I and my mouth/teeth thankyou MoM for giving us the chance to be a part of this amazing trial .

What else can I say? I love this toothbrush. I love the choice in cleaning modes, I love the fact that it has 2 interchangeable heads (one small, one large), I love the UV Sanitiser, I love how it makes my mouth look and feel. I just love this toothbrush!

I still love using the Philips Sonicare FlexCare+ tooth brush. We went away for a couple of days and took the toothbrushes with us in the carrier. The battery lasted for the 2 nights and the carrier kept our toothbrushes clean and dry. The only thing so far I would improve, and it is merely my personal preference would be to offer toothbrush heads that offer different bristles. I always prefer strong stiff bristles while my wife prefers soft bristles. I did not notice the difference as first. But since using the toothbrush continuously for a few weeks, I find myself wanting harder bristles. However, I will not be going back to my manual toothbrush as I've noticed a cleaner feeling and look to my teeth with continued use.

After four weeks of using the Philips Sonicare I'm hooked. There's absolutely no way I'll be returning to my old toothbrush. The only problem I foresee is if my wife ever needs to go away for a night or two and takes the brush with her - all I'll be left with is my little brush-head!
I see the UV Sanitiser as a bit of a novelty, however if there was some way to clearly prove to me the benefits of a UV 'cleaner' then I may have scored the rating higher. Apart from that, I have already been spruiking this product to friends and work colleagues and I know a long lasting relationship has now been created.

Just returned from a week overseas and now I know that the FlexCare+ will be the first thing I consider taking in the toiletries bag for future trips. My husband and I just returned from a 7 day holiday in America. The FlexCare+ was awesome to travel with. Due to the short duration of our holiday and long charge life of the brush, we were able to travel with just the brush and the brush heads in the travel case, no charger or adaptor required. The strength did not diminish whilst away and the travel case is slim and handy to pop into carry on luggage. A real winner. I don't know who would have won the tooth brush war if only one of us had been travelling though as one of us would have had to begrudgingly gone back to the old manual way.

Almost ten days in and I can already notice that my teeth feel cleaner and smoother. I am very impressed that the charge on the brush is still full, as I've used the brush several times daily just to get the hang of it and find a suitable cleaning mode. Still the 3-minute Gum Care for me - everything else feels too quick.
Only used the Sanitiser once (is there a recommended frequency? I'll have to read the book) so I really can't don't know if there is a noticeable difference. Overall I'm enjoying the flexibility and the efficiency that the FlexCare+ is providing at the moment.

I'm now into my second week and am finding the sensitive setting better than last week. My teeth seem to be getting used to the sensation of the vibrations. That said, I'm still finding the inside of my top teeth are a little sensitive and I still feel to urge to get rid of any excess fluid mid brush. Definitely feeling even better than last week.

Okay - I now have an appliance which complies to all standards regarding electromagnetic fields to clean my teeth with. And not only that, but if I handle it properly and according to the instructions in the user manual it will be safe to use based on scientific evidence available today.....yikes.
So here begins my journey with an electronic toothbrush. I'm 30-odd and have always used the ol' manual variety, so this may take a bit of getting used to. Already I have wised up to Rule 1: Do not put toothpaste on Flexcare+ toothbrush and turn it on whilst holding 10cm in front of my face, otherwise I'll end up looking like the sprinkles on my 2 year old daughter's birthday cake. And I must admit that, I do wonder if I am risking any chance of mild electrocution when I clean my teeth in the shower.
After a few days in I can't say I'm completely sold by the Flexcare+. I know that I brush my teeth too rigorously with the normal toothbrush, so I'm still coming to terms by only applying light pressure and letting the Sonicare toothbrush do the brushing for me. In fact, after using the Clean (2 minute) mode I again use the Gum Care or Sensitive mode because I'm surprised at how quickly the time goes (how long was I previously cleaning my teeth for???)
Will be interested to use the other modes over the next week to see how they feel. The brush is certainly comfortable to use and will be interested to see if I notice any wear of the brush over the next few weeks.

I was so excited to participate in this review as I have often looked to buy an electric toothbrush but never taken the plunge. I was impressed that the Sonicare FlexCare+ was quicker to charge then expected and I love that it comes with a travel charger and travel case. The first time I brushed I used the Clean setting and found the vibration to be a little intense . I have since been using the Sensitive setting and find it to be a better option for me. I like that it has a timer as I now know that I was not using my manual toothbrush for anywhere long enough and I must confess to my teeth feeling beautiful and smooth (straight out of the dentist chair smooth) I look forward to seeing if my teeth sensitivity issue settles down at all.

“My Floor Has Never Been So Clean”: The Mop That’s Winning Over Mums
Mopping isn’t exactly the chore most of us look forward to, but like most mums, for Katrina Macilroy, it’s unavoidable.
With three teenagers, a husband, a dog, two cats and timber flooring throughout most of her home, there’s plenty to keep her mop busy.
“I thought the toddler stage was hard, but teenagers take it to a whole other level,” Katrina told Mouths of Mums.
She describes herself as a ‘full-time Uber driver’ for her three kids, but when she’s home, she may as well be a full-time cleaner.
Her husband is a concreter, the family has plenty of sand coming inside and, with teenagers touching everything, the floors quickly show the evidence of a full family life.
“I have to mop like every second day because the floor gets marks,” she said.

“I didn’t have high hopes for it to start with, because I’ve used spin mops before and I’d been disappointed,” she admitted.

Omg! Yes! With 4 dogs and 4 teens AND the guests they bring home with them LOL our timber floors and tiles don’t stand a chance! I would love to see them add some wheels to the bottom of the bucket so that you don’t have to carry the bucket around with you.
This sounds like an excellent mop that makes cleaning so easy! I love a product that not only is as effective as advertised but makes a job less grueling. I gotta say though, a steam mop that plugs in sounds like an awful idea. I have a tineco floor mop, which is cordless and charges at a base, and it’s incredible on my white tiles.
